Nothing wrong with having a nice arena to play in. My girlfriend was blown away about how much nicer Staples is than Scottrade Center, it's amazing what 5 years and consistent updates can do for a building.

My only issue is the timing.

The Rams just left and explicitly for stadium issues. It hasn't been a month and now the Blues are starting sheet about stadium issues?

Just sayin'. The moving vans haven't even hauled the Rams away and the city is supposed to start another stadium thing?

probably because they saw the millions ($100's) being tossed around and figured a paltry $120 large wouldnt be so bad since they've been loyal like for 49 years.

They have actually been mentioning the need for updating for a bit. On one hand the timing may be bad as the Rams left a bad taste in peoples mouths....on the other (as Force said) the public may feel more positive about rewarding a long time team, with lots of post season appearances, that has an ownership that is very public and positive. They might as well strike now and see how it goes.
