Hill didn't practice again...

I think that if Davis starts on Sunday and continues to start all while gaining experience and confidence. ....it is very possible that neither Hill or Keenum get a chance again this year. However if Hill goes back into the starting line up this week or next then it is possible that Keenum will leapfrog Davis on the depth chart and get his chance if Hill struggles or is hurt again. But I believe Fisher when he said Keenum was brought in as depth behind Hill. I guess my thoughts are that right now there is NO competition for the starting QB job..... it is Hills..... however if Hill can't go this weekend and maybe even next..... then this is a prime chance for Davis to enter the argument. Remember Davis had his first regular season snaps..... passes ...and completions in his career last week. If he starts this week..... shows poise ( because the game is slowing down). .. knowledge of the offense and moves them up and down the field...it will be hard to get him out of there.....just my thoughts. ..... Go Rams....

As reported on Twitter by Wagoner then Thomas. Davis got most of the snaps.

I say if Davis has taken most of the snaps with the first team let him play. He is pretty mobile throws a decent ball and the way the injuries have hit us this season he could use the experience. He may end up being the starting QB the rest of the season. SMH

Davis better than Hill?

At this time his passes have more velocity, he's more mobile. If he can get his head in the game, he should be more effective. He didn't break all Brett Farve's records for nothing.

I'm not sure a guy who hasn't started a game since 2010 can sit out a whole week of practice and be ready to play on Sunday. He needs snaps

Why? He's gotten a ton of snaps throughout the preseason. One week of practice at this point is more about a specific gameplan than anything else.

Keenum should be getting the reps not Davis. Keenum has potential. The Rams should be developing it. If not why did they get him. I can't believe he is the #3 QB right now.

The point was that Austin took a lesser talented team #24 Southern Miss team and beat the #7 team (Houston) in the country against the same guy ya'll were calling for (Case Keenum) to start.. The dude is a gamer.. As a starter.. 1-0 Austin Davis, 0-8 Case Keenum.. Yep! About time he got his chance.

So? Tebow's Gators beat Bradford's Sooners and Stafford's Bulldogs in college. It doesn't mean anything. That all said, I'm glad Davis played well and I hope he keeps it up.

I admitt that davis exceeded what I thought he could do and I gave him credit for a good game. That said I still dont think he is the savior of the franchise.

I'm glad he played well, lets hope he continues to improve. I also think our receivers played out of their skin in this game. I wasn't dissing Davis, I just think Keenum has 'something'...

I say stay with Davis. I wouldn't be surprised if he knows more of the offense than Hill. Keenum is still learning the playbook and the last thing we need is to limit the offense for the QB.
