Stocks!

The Canadian cannabis industry is exploding. Is anyone paying attention to the stock market and/or the story line?

I have a hot tip based on my own personal research....ticker symbol SPWRF

There are other bigger stocks, like Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC) who just struck a $4B deal with Constellation Brands (makers of Corona and Modelo) and went up 40%. There's Aurora (ACBFF)...running around striking deals with everyone they can, but diluting thier shares while doing so. There's Aphria (APHQF) who was up 23% on Friday alone and a tasty candidate for the next big deal around the corner.

Aphria Inc

PINX: APHQF · August 24, 4:01 PM EDT 10.7 ▲ 2.03 (23.30%)

After Hours 10.62▼ 0.14 (1.28%)

I've tied some loose ends together and discovered that SPRWF is kinda like the little brother to Canopy Growth, and at $1.31 (vs $49 for Canopy) a share I am buying 1000 shares Monday. Of course in my mind, it will be 10 bucks a share come October 17th when Canada opens the doors across the country to recreational pot. lol

Anyone else intered in this stuff? Its quite fascinating and I am quite the dreamer!

Those little indoor grow tents are pretty cool. Amazon has a kit that includes a light and two side shelves for $170

Personally, I have a big basement and spare rooms, so I'm thinking a few auto flowers and a grow light can enhance my situation. Theoretically speaking.

You should go public. Let us know ahead of time so we can get in early buying your stock

Well, this one goes about $38,000.
So, hopefully works well.
But, on well water and some solar will be off the grid totally which is nice.

Oh well now, that's some commitment!

we're clearly playing in different play grounds:LOL:

I'd love to hear about the progress though. I'm pretty impressed by some of the things I've been seeing on ytube. Since its off grid you should start with the coordinates lol

Slow go project.
Trying mix and match CBD oils at different states of growth process to see what medicinal/health benefits may be.
Will probably take years honestly. That's ok.
Just a fun side project with a couple nutty hippies I know.

It seems your local dealer in California is the Dispensaries these days? I tried to call a friend yesterday and he wasnt home, his wife said he headed out to the dispensary. Back in the day....he was the dispensary.

Of course, I can see some holding onto the nostalgia. 35 years ago when I actually smoked the stuff, those were some good times with some life changing experieces. Growing is a hobby for some, a necessity for others who consider it medicine. Its the recreational portion of the market that is going to boom.

So the world is trying to move on apparently. So far today I'm up $86.60 at the moment. Small timing it. I bought three stocks in the sector and tossed $1500 at it because I got excited. I got MassRoots, which is an app that recommends strains based on symptoms. I got United Cannabis which is an AMERICAN company. And the above mentioned SPWRF, whose focus is the recreational market in Canada.

You should get the app, then buy some to strengthen my positions lol

So if SPRWF gets swallowed up by the bigger CGC?

I hope you bought some cause Supreme was up 25.18% today. I wish I had more money to toss in the ring. I only own 570 shares. ( I also bought 5,000 shares of Abbatis Bioceuticals if you wanna check them out- ATTBF)

bullets:
Supreme owns 7acres, and 7acres actually has an agreement with Canopy Growth (the largest cannabis company by market cap) to supply them with 5000 kilo's of premium price point flower. So in a way...Supreme has agreements coast to coast to supply the market, as well as an agreement to supply Canopy, who is also supplying the market. Win/Win.

Supreme is the only supplier to be in the premium price bracket in all 6 provinces.

Supreme's CEO has held previous agreements with Canopy Growth while working for other companies, so theres a strong relationship.

Supreme currently operates out of the largest liscenced cannabis growing facility in the world, as mentioned in your posted article. But that will be surpassed by Aurora's soon to be completed Aurora Sky facility, which will be 800,000 sq ft.

I bought Supreme @ $1.36 and today it ended trading at $1.76

Aurora is my next target. They were actually my origional target to own, but I had a limit order in on Friday @$6.00 a share. Unfortunately for me, shares dropped to $6.01.... but then went up to $6.52 that afternoon. I missed my chance by a damn penny . Today Aurora (ACBFF) closed at $7.10, up 6.74%, and are up 20% over the last week.

I had a limit order set at $1.62 for 300 shares and it got cancelled for some reason. Have over $500 in core position so can't figure it out.

Sweet! You're almost in! I'm using Fidelity and the same thing happened with my first purchase, it got kicked back. I think it was too soon after I did the transfer. It worked fine for me the next morning.

You did good on AMC, earning above 25% in my loose math....almost 30%

If you have the time, do your due dilligance beyond SPRWF and you'll gain confidence in the sector. You'll follow different links and leads and research differently than me, then end up with your own darlings. Theres plenty out there...no less than 20 that I'd have zero problems getting into. Prices ranging from pennies.... to big companies like Tilray trading above $50 with market caps in the Billions. My only problem is lacking capital to go in deeper and create more positions.

If you do, you'll end up selling your AMC and buying one of the darlings you find.

I got a feeling SPRWF is going to open around 1.82 to 1.85 tomorrow. I'd wait till 10 before I jumped in cause it might trickle down after opening bell.

I started looking into a few over a year ago and life happened and I never got back to them. The ones I was starting to look at were

GRCU
CBIS
CNBX
AMMJ
MCOA

Heard of any of those? If so, how have they been doing? Did I miss the boat or dodge the bullet?
