I also think that if Goff had Cooper Kupp in the Super Bowl, Stafford wouldn’t be here and Goff would have a ring. Stafford with no Kupp is a Super Bowl loss.
Not sure I agree with this. If OBJ doesn't get hurt we probably win the SB anyway (even without CK)....he was putting up MVP #s in the bowl.

Somehow some way I think #9 and #99 would have found a way.

Dont matter anyway we WON.

Anyone heard if there’s a chance Stafford and possibly even AD play this weekend?
I dont imagine there is any possible chance, and frankly it would be insane to play either one in such a meaningless game

Not about helping former Rams into the playoffs more than it's about keeping a shit-a$$ franchise out.

Focus people, focus! ;)

I want to stomp on the hags but it has nothing to do with the Lions.

If they aren’t wear horns I couldn’t care less.

Yeah... That's where I am. I'm going to watch the game this week hoping the Rams can fuck up that shit team's season.

Aside from that, if Detroit makes it in and GB doesn't? Cool. I will hope for the Lions to go far - but mostly for those long suffering Detroit fans.

I don't see myself watching any football playoffs this year unless I'm just bored.

Well my wife as stated before is a Bills fan so I will root for them for her sake.

But the number 3 team - will be the Lions.

Same here, after Clemson lost to UT on Friday, and after our game Vs Seattle on Sunday, I'm done with Football for a while.

I may put on the TCU-UGA game if I stay awake for it......

As far as I can tell a Packers win puts them in the playoffs and eliminates the Lions and Seahawks. But they play Sunday night. Which is good for us. I'd hate a Packers win eliminating the seahags and give them nothing to play for. Beating them would be especially satisfying if the Lions win. They would know we were the ones who knocked them out of the playoffs. Again.

I don't think you know this but your user name is quite appropriate

I just could not help myself :)

I am legit pissed at the sentiment and snark toward our favorite team and a current .500 team is being celebrated.

I was just having some fun.

I do agree with you that the announcers are way overplaying the all-in shit because if we don't lose over half our team to injuries, we would still be in the running.

I was going to make a separate thread on this topic but I'll post it here.

I am NOT going to root for the Detroit Lions. And it has nothing to do with Jared Goff, Brad Holmes, fans, the trade, or anything related to their organization.

It's because the Rams SB win has been all but brushed aside and folks are fappin over the Lions because of the fuckin draft pick. "Yeah Rams won last year but the Lions thank the Rams for giving them a top 5 draft pick this year hurr hurr hurr...what a fall from grace hurrr hurr hurr...they have no future hurr hurr hurrr!!!"

It's stupid and I'm so tired of reading/seeing that. The point and laugh at the Rams' fall and losing a draft pick over winning a SB is driving me crazy. Fuck that. The Rams are LA, and supposed to be the heels of the league, and damnit its high time to start acting like it.

Regardless of how the Lions play, it doesn't affect the Draft position/Pick that the Rams gave them.
So it makes no sense too root for or against the Lions because of that.

The media won't change, and it will continue to be a topic, since the media has been mostly anti-Rams since I've been a fan.

Ahh but we have the Packers 6th round pick (one of three). Sure just the 6th round but still, it could be as high as #15-16. And we also have Tennessee's for Woods. That's currently #10 in the 6th and could go higher with a loss. We grabbed SJD, Nick Scott, Jordan Fuller, Ben Skowronek and Anchrum from the 6th down, so it's not like we couldn't get lucky with some 6th round talent. And 3 picks being in the upper half of the 6th could get us into the 5th round. Hey, when you're 5-11, you gotta look for positives wherever they can be found!!!

I like to see some of our dudes do well and anxious this be the final year to payoff Staffords trade.

As if Aaron Rodgers could get any more smug and irritating. Listening to Rodgers say I told you so makes me an even bigger Goff fan.
