By far my favorite Hekk moment.
My favorite Hekker moment lol
The Rams would probably bring him in for competition. He was bottom middle of the pack in NET yards. He did punt in the cold and wind out doors again. I don't how much effect that has on Net yards. The packers just signed a different punter, who played for the new special teams coach in Chicago
So, Bojorquez is most definitely available...
O'Donnell inks two-year deal to become Packers' latest punter
For the third consecutive season, the Green Bay Packers will have a new punter in town. Less than a day after it was learned that the team will not retain Corey Bojorquez,247sports.com
Agh that washed up punters highlights from last year. Oh yeah, he set every Panthers punting records last year to.
glad he was declining like everyone thought

I didn’t recall but was curious and looked it up. According to Spotrac and OTC, it was three years and $7.6M.IIRC Hekker was due to make near 4 mill per year on his deal, no way Rams could have paid that.
Still sticking by what I said on first page... still a great punter but we had some trimming to do and a top paid punter is top of the list usually. He couldn't boom them like he used to but was still a very good punter with his directionals and nailing them inside the 20. But eventually you got to weigh the cap with the position. The muffed extra point in the super bowl was the only moment of his career I remember being actually mad at a play he did. But only once in his career is pretty good.
Overall, Hekker is the only punter I've every actually liked both on and off the field so he will be missed. Thanks for making punters people too Hekker.

I was OK with the Rams moving on. Cap space was tight; and I thought Hekker declined in 2021. However, the stats would indicate that he rebounded with a strong 2022, confirming my strong suspicion that I ain’t that bright.
I understand now. You were referring to what the Rams owed Hekker under his contract. From Spotrac:
