Pretty disappointed for him as I think Hekker is one of the best, if not the best, and certainly deserved it. Ah well, just another reminder how useless it is.
 
I think he's one of the best... But (without checking stats) it doesn't feel like he's had as good of a year.

Still very good. But a slight step back.

Yeah slightly less than last year and was outperformed but avg by the slightest of margins...lol for punters it must be hard!
 
There's usually a different set punters every year. Although Johnny can throw.

Like I said in the other thread, you can't honestly tell me there's another punter in the league better than Johnny and this holds up according to those ratings.
 
Well if it's McAfee that beat him out his regular appearances on NFL network probably helped him in the voting, he's as big a character as Hekker
 
Honestly, if another punter had a better year than ours I would never know.
 
He was freakin' robbed! There is no punter I would rather have.
 
It's ok, he can still make the all-pro team. Last year Lavonte David was an alternate/snub for the Pro-Bowl but was a All-Pro the same year. Sometimes players get overlooked in the Pro-Bowl, DeAndre Levy has been snubbed two years in a row.

Well, like I said... I was just stating gut feel. It didn't feel like it.

But, looking at the stats X posted... That inside the 20 number smokes the rest. :eek:
