So during Covid all the barbers closed and my pops was staying with me and my wife to take care of him.

I purchased a $150 Clipper Set because the barbers all closed and I taught myself to cut mine and my dad's hair. After Covid was done I went to my barber and my $20 regular haircut jumped to $40 plus a $10 tip.... I cut my hair 2x a month and that was the last time I went to a Barber.

I counted all the money I have saved from what I used to pay $20 plus $10 tip before Covid over the last four years put that money in a shoe box $60 a month.

My wife and I counted the money today in the shoe box (4 years later) and $2,880!!!!

That's going towards our Taylor Swift Concert Fund if she tours again.

I always alternate between growing my hair out and a buzz cut.
A styled haircut....product....a brush.....aint got time for that.
Also....just take that money and save it....go to the local sewer plant if you want to go somewhere to watch shit.

We went to the ERAS tour and it was in the best top 3 concerts I have ever been to and I have been to hundreds of concerts.Never been to a concert where 50 songs were performed by one artist... and almost 4 hours.

The only concert that was better was Princes Purple Rain Tour. The other was Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister at the Long Beach Arena..... Honorable mention April Wine.

The most boring concert was the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour.... I almost fell asleep.

Sorry for my comment....I was having a "get off my yard!!" moment, haha.

Nice....holy smokes, 4 hours is nuts.
There have been a few shows I went to just for something to do and I was blown away.
Chris Isaak really surprised me in the best way possible. Like a young Elvis. Great performer.
Huey Lewis and the News really surprised me as well.
Tower of Power was great too....would like to see more horn sections live, can add a great element.
Pink blew me away too....

I fell asleep during one show....Ratt. In their defense they had the misfortune of being sandwiched between Y&T, a young hungry Metallica and peak Scorpions....they never stood a chance, ha.

I was at two of those Maiden shows with Twisted Sister opening in Long Beach!!
That was my first big metal show as a kid and my face melted.
Nicko was the reason I started playing drums after seeing that show. I always kept my ride cymbal straight up and down like him.
Haha
Good times....

Don't be sorry...... I'm never sorry for my comments.... lol... Well unless somebody get's their feelings hurt.

I used to feel the same way about TS.... I thought she was just another one of those cheesy country music artists, but my wife sat me down and had me watched some of what she had been doing since 2019. Also she got me into Post Malone and we went to his concert two years ago, but he's doing modern country music these days which I think totally sucks.

I saw Y&T with the Bullet Boys at the Whiskey many moons ago, and the following night Saxon and Armored Saint. Both awesome shows.

Were going to go see Halestorm Thursday March 5 at the GRAMMY Museum L.A. Live.... looking forward to that one.

kind of funny how this thread morphed from getting haircuts to heavy metal bands.. if you dont see the irony in that there is something wrong with you

When I was a kid , we had a Aunt that was a beautician, so we always got our haircuts for free , then I joined the Navy , and they took care of it , ever since , my wife has always cut my hair ,
