Gotcha thanks for that.No 20-49 only for a RB, he could convert to punter and have it.

and yet, when you listen to Fisher in his comments about Gurley joining the group already here, he includes Isaiah in the group. So some of you may be in for a major disappointment when he is still competing for a roster spot come July and August.Ah yes Pead, I was looking at Pro-Football-Reference and they only list players who were active last year, forgot all about him, I was thinking more along the "Gurley is our Lynch" argument. Didn't mean to imply that Pead would get cut, I just completely forgot about him.
He doesnt have to, if the number meant something to Gurley, (which i have no idea if it does) and doesnt hold any meaning to Gaines (which i have no idea if it doesnt) with a little cheddar thrown his way Gaines might like the idea. Again, no idea why Gurley wore #3 and if he even cares. Heck maybe he's a fan of Herschel Walker and he'll take #34Why would Gaines give up his number? He's actually proven something in the NFL.
Perfect, great explanationI saw someone mention this on another forum. Gurley comes up wiht the $$$ to pay Mo Alexander for his #31, freeing that up for EJ Gaines (was his number in college), and Gurley takes #33. Alexander then chooses whatever number is still available, with a nice little check in his bank account.
Now that was before #30 became available... so who knows?
Yeah, I really gave Ed a tough time. Told him they crushed my childhoodVery cool Stranger! Ghiradelli Square, Hot Fudge Sundays, Football talk with a former NFL player - WOW! Ed White was a great player and now I know he's a good man too. Two of my closest childhood friends were from Minnesota, so those 70's playoff games were especially rough to deal with!
The Super Bowl victory was our high water mark, but for me, a VERY CLOSE second were our NFC playoff victories over the dreaded Cowboys in 1979 and Vikings in 1999.
Now that's a freaking funny story that I never heard. Thx.Hey @Stranger, it's Lawrence not "Larry" he has a brother named Larry...That's right they named their kids Lawrence & Larry. I remember on a Monday Night Football Game Cosell kept calling him "Larry" McCutcheon only to be contacted by his mother to stop calling him Larry because he had a brother named Larry. Cosell was dumbfounded.
Alexander is 31. My guess is he will take #30, unless he pays for a number of his preference.Looks like a 31 to me.
Damn it. I forgot. He lookalike a perfect 31Alexander is 31. My guess is he will take #30, unless he pays for a number of his preference.
Damn good post...As a huge UGA and Gurley fan, i agree with this. Come to an organization and you need to respect somebody on the level of Eric Dickerson. I hope Gurley takes a different number unless ED personally reached out to Gurley and says i want you to take #29. Also i loved ED's comments on RBs nowadays about how they dont want to carry the ball too much anymore. Give me a Beast RB and a great defense and i will take that against any Chunk it around finess team everyday of the week.
If I recall, he had two beautiful daughters with him at the table as well.
