+1

Man I would crank my Double Live Gonzo album on our stereo in the basement only to have my parents almost explode. "Yank Me, Crank Me But Don't Wake up and Thank Me!"

Man there was some great rock back in the 70's. I would love to turn back time just to hang out in a friend's basement and blast some music. :bangin: :bangin:

I'll even give a little shout out to Eddie Van Halen. Eruption was pretty bad ass. Extended clip from a concert in '82.

Ah yes. Eddie before he decided the freakin' organ was his ticket to history. Does anyone else get that why one of the best guitar players of our time suddenly becomes a mediocre keyboard player?

And the Nuge has never gotten the love he deserves for his guitar prowess. I showed my son (future rocker) some of his old videos and he was blown away.

Santana is freaking amazing in concert too. I've seen them three times and was buzzing when I left every time. And no... not from imbibing in anything but a great show and music. :sly:

Dire Straights was pretty good too but I saw them in the Portland Memorial Coliseum (where the Blazers used to play) which is a freaking echo chamber. Wouldn't mind seeing Knopfler in a small venue.

Funny we haven't seen Slash in here anywhere
