I get a kick out of how we react to the grades after the draft. Like if anyone knows how a rookie class will turn out before they even step on the field. Draft grades are meaningless. Yet, we take em seriously.
What I will prepare for?

I feel we have what it takes to win now without any addition from the draft with the exception of maybe a swing tackle.

For everyone who gets pissed off that the Rams didn't draft "Their Guys" (Starting Thursday night). Fans generally get too invested in prospects that they fall in love with. Everybody take a deep breath, and enjoy whoever we pick. These are good days.
It's so cool with the internet now that we can do a deep dive into all the players we take and get that hyped adrenaline feeling from reading the good reviews. When I first started following the draft it was in the mid '70s. They had one draft preview magazine you could get that they sold from the back of comic books and that was printed on newspaper pulp. You always had to wait till a month or so after the draft when they would come out with the NFL preview magazines to learn anything about the players you drafted. My how times have changed.
Thanks to us stealing the starting corners from the Kansas City Chiefs.
I remember those days. My draft tracking began in the 80's. I would always buy the two or three mags that were available pre-draft then buy the mags that graded the picks after. I followed that pattern to around 1996 -1997 then transitioned quickly to the internet.

I hope we trade out of this draft. Nobody in this draft really excites me. Would love it we could grab some extra draft capital for next year, but easier said than done. Or take an approach that they trade up for specific targets they might have as targets. Quality over quantity this year seems like the best approach...but Im just a sales reps so what do I know

Ummm, since I was 5 years old in 1977. So relax, Mr. Holier than thou.
The ATL trade is a prime example of that !!!!
I remember when they traded down multiple times, out of the first rd, and ended up with pick 61, and took Taylor Rapp. The fans weren't thrilled with that
I feel a pass catcher is the highest priority but I’d put OT right after.

The Rams window is now. We need to roll the dice and add to this team.
I could see trading for a vet WR, maybe. Rams need help at WR, the drop off after Adams and Nacua is pretty big right now.
Since you put it that way, I DO feel better about tomorrow night.
I’m actually a bit more excited about Watson than McD but why split hairs? We got them both!
When does Steve Avila’s contract come due ? Plus McClendon? KDOT as well ?
Anyway I won’t be surprised if with what The Rams do tomorrow? I’d say taken a total back seat this season.
Just take Sidiq. 50% of the fans will hate it, 50% will love it, and 100% will be fascinated to see how McVay uses him.
