Everybody is beatable. He's right about the OL and Stafford, which causes concern for Bennett/Simpson. The backend "problem" IMO is fantasy. I like our safeties.....Curl, Kinchens, Lake and McCollough were solid. Every team has the health worry. What if Darnold goes down? Emmanwori? Ernest Jones? JSN? Kupp (and we know he's had a history)? Give me who's backing them up and how they don't lose anywhere from a little to significantly should any of them go down!!Cl talked down the Rams as being beatable. Stafford's injury risk, the offensive line with Jackson's legal problem and the backend not being the best are his reasons. He still likes the Hags a lot too. It was a good listen and a reality check.
I like the backend too. He mentioned LBers are good but not great, too. It will be interesting to see how and when they play Speights and if Dolac gets playing time. He did seem to be going a little out of his way to make that argument; I think he didn't want to crown the Rams before the season starts. No one knows about injuries that can affect a team. I'm hopeful McVay will protect Stafford with the run game and use 3-TE sets to slow down the pass rush.Everybody is beatable. Yeah, the safeties were the best thing abou the secondary last year for cryin' out loud.Everybody is beatable. He's right about the OL and Stafford, which causes concern for Bennett/Simpson. If the corners can succeed in press coverage the short game will go away and opposing offenses will have nothing they can hang their hat on in the passing game. The backend not being "the best"???
Sorry.. you kept the spine intact with FOUR returning safeties with complimentary skill sets.. and added two real corners.. one of whom is a top 5 corner in the league.
I think that's kinda silly. Maybe not "The Best".. but certainly very, very good.. added to what should be an absolutely devastating front line.
I feel like our safeties will be much more effective this year with solid corner play.Yeah, the safeties were the best thing abou the secondary last year for cryin' out loud.
Our safeties are pretty good. Maybe better than good. LBs could be better though. The backend not being "the best"???

Good to hear he is doing well in camp. He jumped his snaps from around 37% to almost 60% which surprised me. He isn't the most athletic nor quickest/speed guy. He does bring a pop though.Kyren said Speights was tearin it up in camp.
It's his (Omar Speights) third year in the league. The normal stud NFL player usually breaks out in their third year (see, Byron Young for one example). Let's see how he does for us.Good to hear he is doing well in camp. He jumped his snaps from around 37% to almost 60% which surprised me. He isn't the most athletic nor quickest/speed guy.
