Don't necessarily match a player with a team (except for the Rams).

Don't necessarily list the 13 players YOU think are the best.

Just list the order that you think the players will be selected, and indicate which will be the Rams choice...and of course any comments you'd like to share.

1. Mendoza
2. Bailey
3. Reese
4. Love
5. Delane
6. Feeling
7. Bain
8. Lemon
9. Tyson
10. Tate
11. Sadiq
12. Downs
13. Mauigoa

17. KC Concepcion *** Rams trade back

*** Bold prediction - Styles falls out of top 13. McCoy falls due to knee concerns.

McCoy will fall past 20. Downs to NYG at 5.

I was ok with McCoy with the ACL healing, but after reading about a possible degenerative issue with the other knee, I think I'm out. Could have just been a dumb rumor though. Who knows?

  • 1-Mendoza
  • 2- Reese
  • 3- Bailey
  • 4- Love
  • 5- Tyson
  • 6- Downs
  • 7- Fano
  • 8- Bain
  • 9- Delane
  • 10- Lemon
  • 11- Styles
  • 12- Mauigoa
  • 13- Cooper Jr
Trade down: Cooper Jr or Concepcion

NOTE - I misunderstood the OP and just listed the RAMS top 13. So essentially disregard in a mock sense.

There's a good tackle prospect at our spot in these two mocks. Could be great to take one or could mean we trade out.

With so many teams desperate for a blue-chip Tackle, a trade down is both possible & ideal for the Rams.
But I like the OP's mock!

Well, post your picks! How do you see it playing out?
We're all gonna be wrong - just a fun exercise.

Wow, no Tate. Wow.
I'm just not a big fan. I've always said he's solid, he just doesn't have a high ceiling IMO. Not sure what he is dynamic in. I can see higher ceilings for Tyson, Lemon, Cooper, Concepcion and see how they win. Tate won't have the entire secondary keying on an actual greek god generational talent in the NFL like at Ohio State. I just don't see how folks have him rated above Tyson (injuries aside) or Lemon. Both more productive and both had defenses keying on THEM.

1. Mendoza. No brainer for Bowl Cut & Brady. Which btw would be a great rap duo name.

2. Bailey. Jets are stupid so they may take a project like Reese, but Bailey's the best rusher in this draft given Bain's arm measurements.

3. Simpson. This is me being hopeful, but I don't think Simpson gets out of the first round due to the need of teams at the position and the fact he's the best option after Mendoza to get year one QB play (Steelers at 20 seems like the spot you need to get him by). Their HC loved Jimmy, who was a borderline starter, so...

4. Love. If the Cards are smart they'll take him at 3, but if not he goes here at 4.

5. Styles. Harbaugh knows what he's doing.

6. Freeling. Feel bad for the kid but if you're the top OT on the board and the Browns need a blindside tackle strap it up.

7. Reese. Commodes rumored to love Styles, but they miss out so maybe they take Reese and tell him to STFU about playing Edge because he's an ILB.

8. Tate. This would be a good spot for the Rams to jump if they're in love with Tate. Hopefully not, but if it happens I could live with it. Saints get another weapon for their young QB. He goes before Tyson because he's big, he'll be able to get off the LOS, and he's a safe pick.

9. Delane. KC lucks out and gets need filled at nine.

10. Ioane. Harbaugh may go with Maui here instead, but Ioane is the best guard in this draft and a power fit for his scheme. Tyson would make sense for him here but year one prioritizing the line is the key. Wideout can be had rounds 2/3.

11. Mauigoa. Need filled for Miami, and this is the type of player who will still kick ass even if he's moved inside.

12. Downs. It isn't the corner the Cowpokes need, but a versatile piece for the secondary who helps them big time.

13. Tyson. McVay won't be able to pass on the lottery ticket.

If the board falls that way other options are Theineman (if they want a ballhawk safety to finish the secondary overhaul), Lemon (if they are worried about Puka), Boston (if they want that X that has eluded them and don't like Tyson's injury history), or a move down (I think that makes the most sense if they want OL/DL).

Oh and I am assuming Bain's gonna need a slide but if they don't care about his short arms or other concern then of course he'd be in play.

Isn't his current weakness getting off press?

Excellent! Good work. I can see it. :part:

Jeeze, guy creates separation at every level of the field and catches everything. Can't really say that for all those other guys.

I agree that Tyson has probably a higher ceiling and possibly KC. I don't think so for Lemon or Cooper.

I think this narrative that Smith was across from him is doing heavy lifting when the tape shows the best WR in this draft class (as of now at least).

I didn't see that when I watched him. I expect he'll do well vs most draws. Top corners of course will snuff him out because he's a rook but he's gonna be fine in that regard I think.

By the way iirc the Rams didn't attend Boston's pro day.

Does it show that because he is facing the inferior CB and safety coverage though? Not just inferior but the opposing team is terrified of the WR across from him.

Again, I'm in no way saying he's not good, I just do not see special in any aspect of his game. A safe pick when your trying to hit for average. When you are taking a swing to leave the ballpark, I have 4 WR's above him.

No I think your way way over indexing for something you don’t have a good measures for

It’s not the same thing but it’s like when people over index go strength of opponent
