When do all you all your off season moves work out in the title game. In the beginning of the year there were those derisively calling us the dream team part 2. Everyone of our pickups had a good if not great game.

Cooks
Suh
Talib
Peter
Shields
Fowler

That doesn't happen often. If ever.

Lets not forget all the other pieces he brought in through the draft with Goff, Gurley, Donald, ect. He is one of the best GM in the game no doubt!! Along with an owner that is willing to spend what it takes to win, the best young coach in the league and young talent across the team, this organizations looks poised to be a top team for some time.

Would have been tempting to toss him out with Fisher after high profile misses on GRob and Tavon but someone correctly assessed that he wasn’t the problem.
from my recollection, Grob was league wide first round pick,
Tavon was a Fisher pick

When you look at it, the Rams have not "missed" on a high pick (first 3 rounds) since GRob & Tre Mason in 14'.. and Mason looked like a player, just had mental issues that were a surprise.

2014 - GRob - bust, Donald -1st... Joyner - 2nd, Mason - 3rd

2015 - Gurley -1st, Havenstein - 2nd, Brown - 3rd ...Brown was solid pick, NFL starter... just beat out by Blythe

2016 - Goff 1st... no 2nd or 3rd, but got Higbee as a high 4th

2017 - Everett 2nd, Kupp & Johnson 3rd, & even Reynolds & Ebukahm in the 4th.

2018 - Noteboom - 3rd, looks legit

Snead's an excellent GM catering to the coach's vision of the roster. The blunders of GRob and Tavon are trying to work with getting what Fisher wanted; hindsight is 20/20

His free agency and trade moves have been pretty spot on, as well.

Whitworth, Suh, Cooks, Fowler, Talib, Peters .... he can build a team.

I've been giving it up and holding the torch for Snead since 2012. No need to convince me.
The talent he's acquired and drafted in the last 6 years has been top shelf when you look around the league at other GM's and their canvas of work.

Just because Fisher had no clue of the value of offense isn't an indictment of Snead. Snead consistently brought in quality personnel on offense, defense and ST's. For every Greg Robinson or Kenny Britt or Isiah Pead or Brian Quick i'll give you at least a dozen other acquisitions that were A+ or at least solid NFL players. Not to mention how well he has manipulated the draft in our favor via trades etc.

The best decisions this team made 2 years ago in order were:

1. McVay
2. Retaining Snead
3. Retaining Fassel

Les has done a great job of coming out of Fish's shadow and working with the staff to be on the same page. It shows in the accuracy of draft picks too. He definitely deserves a lot of cred.

Also you know we could nitpick him here on how he rolled the dice on the moves this past offseason, but nobody bats a thousand and tbh you cannot argue with a Super Bowl berth. So thank you Les and if you're reading this...

LOAD THE DEFENSE THIS OFFSEASON PLEASE. :D

Yep, every addition from this off-season, not even mentioning those from last off-season, made a play yesterday, even Shields on the fake punt made a huge play.

That we have survived the G Rob pick and prospered is testament to Snead and McVey

Whitworth was a great pickup, one of our best ever FA signings and there have been others that warrant discussion

How about some of the UFAs under Snead?

The man knows how to assess talent

Did anybody else notice Snead right after the game last night?

He had either been sweating like a pig at he end of the game, or he spilled his cocktail all over the front of his shirt. I'm hoping that it was the later. LOL

Another thing that can't be overlooked from this entire front office is how they did not allow the Donald contract and holdout to become a toxic situation, which isn't easy when you are dealing with an agent and a player who can get emotional about that type of situation

They kept everything in house and kept open communication with the player.
