So....

This seems obvious to me....we should trade for Eli, and keep him on the bench until we reach the Super Bowl, where inevitably we will meet the Patriots!

It's about time. Not like the Giants are gonna win anything this year so why not put the kid out there and let him take his lumps.

He gets over $700k a game. Nobody would trade for him - probably not even a 7th. He's toast.

About time. Eli has been overrated his entire career. He's been the beneficiary of good WR's and an outstanding defense who made him look better than he is. Rivers, and Rothlisberger both can carry a team with their play and have done so more than once. Eli simply plays to the level of the talent around him.

Time for Eli to make commercials like his brother.

In all fairness, while Eli was very pedestrian in the regular season, he serendipitously had his best games when the lights were the brightest and his Super Bowls were very, very good if not great.

Honestly, I think the scheme he played in just sucks. Jones is gonna struggle in it as well and if you can't move the ball with a guy like Gurley or Barkley... it's the scheme...

Tough gig for Jones. Might have been best to let him sit a little longer. But, I understand getting him some reps.
