Whatever happens - it’s just darn good to have the rams and football back. Fall starting soon. Good times

I'm making no bones about it...I'm worried about the Ram secondary and D' line. The only question I have on the offense is how McVay calls it.

Still...RAMS TIL I DIE...lets see what they have. I flat out admit it's a mystery to me right now
Agree on the D line but I'm much more concerned about our Linebacker group.
I mean outside of Ernest Jones who are these people?

Seattle is going to light us up with whoever we have covering JSN and it’s going to get ugly.

Then constantly give us a dose of their two headed RB monster.
We'll just call you the 12th man.

Went to church this morning, wearing just a regular white polo and a white hat with a blue logo (Nothing resembling the NFL or a team). The lady behind me said, wow a Seahawks fan. I turned and looked at her and politely said I’m a Rams fan. She responded, ”today we are mortal enemies.”

I laughed and said ”Well God still loves you.” Her boyfriend started laughing and said, “We are in Church, maybe tone it down a bit hun.”
Great story, Neil. Mebbe next time tell her you're praying for her to repent like you do for all Hawk fans!

Aside from Jones, I'm good with Hoecht because he was good on special teams and got time in a backup role last year, likewise with Rozeboom. Young is a rookie, so we have to trust the staff on him. One things for sure...WE'LL KNOW TODAY!!!

Today could be a long day. It very well might. It could mark the beginning of a frustrating season. There's plenty of legitimate reasons for concern, no doubt. Some fans are bracing themselves for what may be coming, tempering their expectations to try and avoid feeling the crushing disappointment they know is possible....

I don't blame them.
They love this team too much to hype themselves up with confidence when it isn't a smart bet.

BUT NOBODY KNOWS
That's a big reason we watch sports.
How many different words, phrases and cliches are there in our language just for describing teams who out perform expectations? Upsets, surprises, underdogs, "cinderella stories", "from out of nowhere", "the return of..." ......these exist because it happens all the time...

In a weird way, I see this season as an opportunity. It's a chance to for the next great underdog story. Kupp out? Great, makes the feat all the more impressive.

I'm going to soak it all up, good or bad and enjoy it for whatever it ends up being. Life's too short to let a team you love ruin your day. We wait half the year for these 17 sundays and gamedays are just too precious to be in a bad mood.

GO RAMS!! :horns::cool::horns:

Fuck DirectTv , too cheap to pay Fox. So us fans suffer and will now have to find another method to watch the game. Someone remind me why I pay these fools?

NFL is making the same mistake boxing made, restricting access to their product. There are other reasons boxing doesn't have the stature it once did, but the lack of fights on regular TV certainly did a lot to take it out of the public consciousness. NFL should learn that lesson before they make their sport a second-tier option, because there are a lot of entertainment options out there now.

Boxing was crooked as hell and maybe still is? The various world organizations that issue championship belts often made the Champ forfeit a belt because they wanted him to fight their #2 guy. I know this stuff made my eyes glaze over, aside from pay-per-view.

True enough, that's why I listed other factors. But restricting access to their product certainly hastened their decline. Seems like the NFL wants to make that mistake as well. They should take the opposite tact and make their product as available as possible, and they can make their money on advertising revenue, the way they used to be content to do.
