Still pitching a shutout. Just limit the QB runs and they will coast in the 4th quarter. His running is their only chance to make a game of it. He ain't scaring no one with his passing.

Richardson reminds me of Josh Allen in his first season

This approach is fine I think. We have a 20 point lead. Clock is the enemy so this drive burned it and got us 3 more. Success.

My only issue is it's been just a three score game since the first quarter. Offense came out fast and has been slow ever since.

Van or TuTu have to start taking the top off of defenses eventually.

Don’t understand the conservative offense but as long as defense is pitching a shutout I guess it’s ok.

The point is to keep the clock running with good safe calls and tire out the defense. IT'S WORKING!!!

Very happy with Boom today. Hasn't been perfect but he's getting the job done. Same with RG and the gameplan with the balance is helping them a ton.

I wonder if Evans or Freeman will see any touches this season. Rivers is a guy you root for, but a JAG basically. Watching this game, I wish we would focus a chunk of next year's FA/draft capital on OL and RB. World of difference when we can run. Obviously need an edge, too, but we have not had a big play RB since Gurley's heyday.

Neither Rivers nor Williams will be the next Dickerson/Faulk/Jackson. Those guys were special, and it would be unrealistic to expect anyone to do what they did.

However, as a 1-2 punch they could be up with the best in the league; save our funds and see what these guys can do.
