I know we are frustrated with the long Cards drives, but part of the defensive play calling is to protect these young corners. The other is just strategic - we gave up some yards, but no points. Combine that approach with a good offense, and it's not the worst design in the big picture, if a bit tough to watch sometimes.

It does run into some problems against teams like the Whiners, who live off that short passing game, can run, and have the D to slow down our offense.
