Again this is their fucking super bowl. Goff wants to win this more than any game ever. You know how dialed in their special teams has to be to convert an onside kick and fake punt in the 1st quarter as clean as they did? Its unbelievable odds. The probability is so low. So as long as we dont implode and shoot ourselves in the foot, the math should level out and we'll pull away. But if we freak out and lose composure we can lose this game. Thats why it was huge to bounce back the way we did early and take the lead before half.

Nah I think its been fine. He's playing pretty well, but all his yards came on a 70 yard screen called against a blitz on 3rd & 10.... And a 2 min drill before the half. Outside of that they haven't really been moving the ball easily IMO. We need to get more pressure on him with our front 4 though in the 2nd half.

The Lions' gameplan is to mash the ball and get us to settle for FGs. Putting them down with a couple scores should blow this open.

Yea but Ramsey has been shutting down Hockenson thus far. Love that strategy. If Rochelle/ Long can't stop Kalif Raymond then we deserve to lose. We just need to stop the run and get more pressure on Goff in the 2nd half. I agree tho more man coverage when we blitz, but Morris might be gunshy after that first blitz got torched by the screen.

16 getting the ball out quick like he has so far is the issue. We need to have him hold it which means removing the underneath or at least contesting them.
