Normally I would agree with you, but games like this expose a fundamental flaw with this team. We have zero deep passing game. Teams with solid defensive lines just play the inside passing game and completely shut down this offense.

They played last sunday. Our guys had extra rest. That usually scares me. We almost always come out flat under McVay because his practices are so soft anyways. Thats why our guys are usually healthy but the downside is that they can start slow against powerful and jacked up fronts.

There is zero reason to keep rolling with Everett. He’s a one to two catch a game guy and when he has the ball in his hands he is careless with it. Mundt has shown to be a better blocker, decent catcher and holds onto the ball when given opportunities. I’ll be glad when Everett is gone after this season.
