Giving up on the defending champs at home in the 3rd q? That’s no Rams fan.Not a Niners fan. We’ve already lost 2 home games. About to lose a third and drop to 3-4 as defending SB champs. That’s the facts. Can’t help if you can’t accept that.
He hit 21 mph in practice though!Jefferson never hit the field that drive. Was McVay just talking him up through the week???
I think we all wonder that, especially against this team. I have to think McVay is OK with the defense Morris uses, at least philosophically. Part of it, maybe, is that he feels his offense is good enough to score 28 points or so a game, and the defense just needs to eliminate the big play and give the other team time to make a mistake. When the offense is struggling a bit, though, it is tough to watch. It's definitely not an aggressive, high pressure D.It’s as if Morris forgets every previous time playing them. What we actually need to play against them is the stop the short pass and yet he’s too afraid of a long pass to play any press coverage. How is McVey not going up to him and telling him to change his shit?
As a Rams fan for over 43 years I’ve seen enough to know what’s going to happen. Trust me.Giving up on the defending champs at home in the 3rd q? That’s no Rams fan.
Alas
We cannot beat them. But the saving grace is they have trouble beating anyone else. At the end of the season who knows? AZ is 3-5. I'm not sure Seattle can sustain what they're doing. Plus, 8 or 9 wins might be enough for a playoff spot.Another home loss especially to division rival you can kiss playoff goodbye.
