Well, obviously if you are going to a game like that I assumed that was something you would take a vacation day. Otherwise not sure why you would even consider going.
Well, obviously, everyone's situation is different.

Understood, but then it was something you really never considered going to then. So why mention it?

Any Rams fans from Phoenix in this forum? Want to go to the game?

I am buying 4 tix this morning at 10 (PT), but they will let me buy up to 8 with the discount for season ticket holders.

Let me know if I should pick up extras for you (no mark ups).

Because some may not have the opportunity(availability) for tickets or being able to afford them. If State Farm Stadium isn't filled and it probably won't be, prices for seats will go way down. People with limited means, who always wanted to go to a playoff game for their team might be able to go. I would include myself in this group.

Very cool gesture @Turducken. If I were anywhere close I'd surely take you up on that.

Sure seems like Vegas woulda been the better choice. A 4 hour drive from LA. Shorter for some further inland.

I’m no expert but surely it’s a lot easier to move a big event last minute to the Arizona desert than it is to somewhere like Vegas?

I have nothing to back this up, but I’d be willing to bet that there are far more LA Rams fans in the Phoenix metro area than there are in and around Las Vegas.

As far as which city is easier to travel to? Idk.

No question, Vegas is full of transplants..
Not to mention the influx of fans for wildcard weekend. AZ much better choice.

I whole heartedly agree with you. I was joking about making the game for you. It’s a trek to either location.
I understand the decision but I'm personally pissed since I was going to go to LA for the game. Going to Arizona is an extra 4-hour drive for me, fuckin crazy

With Vegas, you may get some non Ram/Vik fans in town that go to the game for the experience. Also, maybe there is some other things occurring (convention, etc) that would make Vegas a difficult option for fans, etc

You're driving there? God I hate that drive so much.
Nah contemplating it but leaning towards no cuz that's like 10 plus hours away for me. I get that I can stop in between at a hotel or what not, but it's still a long ass drive. Would have done that drive to LA no problem minus needing a hotel.

I do agree with the idea that the grass field could favor our guys. We aren’t exactly fielding the GSOT these days and Minny has a lot of speed all over.
