Let me throw this out there. IMO Kyler is all he's ever going to be right now. If they go beyond just a wild card it will be because of the play around him, not particularly Kyler himself. He desperately needs a RB like the Colts Jonathan Taylor. But with a RB like Taylor you can win with a Jimmy G type of QB and not a cap-eating kid at the position.
Why has Wentz's career gone off the cliff? Because he's uncoachable. That was his problem in Philly, and it's why he lasted only one year in Indy. Carson's ego refuses to accept coaching, in his head he's great as he is. After 3 years you have to believe that Kyler is much the same way. Before the draft evaluators knew he needed to learn to read defenses and play in the pocket more. Lamar Jackson came into the league the same way and he's come a long way in his ability to read the secondary. After 3 years Kyler isn't that much better than he was as a rookie. The book on him is clear. Contain him and take away his quick reads, pressure him and he folds.
It's why the handwriting is on the wall. Kyler will be perennially the #3 or 4 QB in the NFCW.
