The blatant holding Minnesota was getting away with while the Rams were getting flagged on such bs calls was driving me mad.
I’ve never been a blame the ref guy but it was real hard to take.

Well there was NO HOLD!! He did wrap his arms around him.I’ll give the REF some out.It wasn’t going to effect The Rams by Downs from the penalty.
The REF shouldn’t call it if he didn’t see it,but if you had his angle in that situation it’s not that BAD of a call.
-So I say game management it was a good call.As much BS as it maybe,REFS are taught to be more lenient or aware of the score.Fames do get called different & it’s taught in sports in general.
—It was a little (way) over the Top.

I saw a couple more holdings on the Vikes when I started looking.I guess when it comes to The Rams on offense I don’t look very hard.Alaric’s hold & Allen’s hold were both there.

The ONE non call was on a late hit on Stafford. The play was over & a Viking hit or (Ram) knocked into him a little, then way after the throw a big DT knocked into him down. Those play will get a QB hurt.

The block into the PUNTER was BS ! He got thrown into him.I see that all the time in college. It’s like in college they NEVER call that.
I saw in a game when a kicker on an extra point gets run into ,all it is is NOTHING!! You call it but the penalty is ALWAYS declined by the lesser team.
Anyways Jake Hummel was thrown into the punter & Dumb AZZ’s say oh there was no throwing into the Punter!! I didn’t see it !! WTF ????
-How is that not throwing into the punter, maybe he didn’t try not to run into the punter after being thrown, but that’s not on The DEFENDER!!He was TROWN so therefore his responsibility are off.
I get if he try to still run into the punter at which I don’t think there was much INTENT !! He just didn’t try to not hit the punter at that point ????
I guess it’s a judgment call, but he was thrown into the punter for sure.

Hoecht got held once where he couldn’t make a play on a run.I went looking after a nice gain. The pass rush I never really noticed much ?

First officiating crew in NFL history to call a penalty without throwing a flag. That's all you need to know.
I laughed when Aikman made the comment "guess some people want to make this game longer" and when asked who he said" the guys in the striped shirts"

I am not a fan of John Hussey and last night underscored how awful his crew is. The hold against Whittington as others have communicated, he did not even touch anyone and the roughing the punter when Hummel was clearly blocked into him just showcased how tough it is when you have to beat two teams.

Fuck them in the ass with a splintery 2x4.

Then strip them naked, douse them in Tabasco sauce, and throw them into a swimming pool filled with rabid porcupines.

That’s textbook downfield blocking. There was no restriction, no jersey stretch, etc. How is Jo Whit expected to block?

And how was the contact missed on the bomb to Long? Should have been called as the defender went into Long’s chest and hit his face mask as he attempted to corral the ball. There were two restrictions I observed with his ability to catch the ball.

One thing that bothers me about officiating at the NFL level is the leeway the coaches have to complain to the officials. The whole night, KOC was up in the down judge’s ear. So KOC screams at the DJ for a correction made by NY and the correct ruling? Then doesn’t let up. In HS and youth, that will merit a sideline warning at minimum and worse if it continues. But in the NFL and most college games, it’s a last resort to throw the flag at the coach. I even pregame the coaches on how to work and talk with the crew: Hey, if you see something you don’t like, say official look at 75 he appears to be holding my edge.

At the end of the day, officials are human and I suspect several calls were made and not made to quiet KOC.

Despite posting the Rams' 7-4 record (now 8-4) when he calls a game I knew I didn't like his face for something and it's usually when announcing a bogus call. It's hard not to think of fireman bill whenever he calls a penalty. We've won those games in spite of him.

Yeah, Hussey and his crew are always a joke. The punt roughing the kicker, Limmer's unnecessary roughness while blocking someone during a play, Whittington's hold, the no call DPI on Long.... was absolutely ridiculous how many game changing type penalties we got but the team shook them off and bulled past them. That's championship football.
