The first line of Murray's agent's statement is as follows:
'Kyler wants to be direct with loyal Arizona Cardinals fan'

I would love to know the compensation range Murray wants.

If it's between $30M-$35M per-year, I might start negotiating now.

If it's between $36M-$42M per-year, I am probably waiting to see how he performs in 2022.

If he wants $43M-$50M per-year, I am telling Murray ...
"You're just not that good but if you play like Mahomes and Allen in 2022, we can talk"

Realizing Murray will not like the 2nd or 3rd options, I am also calling Denver and Indianapolis; and saying:
"Do you guys want to wait on Rodgers or Wilson to request a trade, or do you want to talk. It will be costly.

If I'm Steve Keim--and thank you Lord that I am not for reasons that number more than this....anyway, I digress--there is no way I sign the extension after three years.

Having had a front-row seat to the Goff contract, I can't. Especially knowing my franchise is not nearly adept at talent evaluation and development or cap management as the Rams appear to be.

You...never...go...full...Goff.

I have been convinced for a year now that Russ and Pete cannot coincide anymore and yes I do think he will be traded. My concern is if he does go to another team and perform very well, and then the Hawks falter without him, I will be really pissed that they made the wrong move by not getting rid...

Wow, I didn't realize crack was THAT big of a problem in Seattle!!! Stafford wilts under pressure??? If what he did in the playoffs in three consecutive games is wilting, I can't wait to see what not wilting looks like!

I have a bunch of friends from Idaho where I grew up until 9th grade. A lot of people around there are Seahawks fans, but several friends of mine haven't given into the temptation and kept their teams of their youth. They always tell me that Seahawks fans are not very smart about football ... and man, does the post you were responding to provide a solid data point for that thesis. Holy shit.

BTW, I went through the thread, and absolutely LOVE how you stuck the knife in with this one:

Stafford was a critical piece on winning a Super Bowl this year and RW's team didn't make the playoffs. For all of Russ' winning, he still only has one Super Bowl win of two. Stafford's won every Super Bowl he's been in, Stafford threw a fade route on the one yard line to win the Super Bowl, and Russ threw a pass on the one yard line to lose a Super Bowl....

OMFG, that is a LEGENDARY dig. They are going to feel that one for a long time, because that loss stings, and now that you brought up the same situation with one of their hated rivals that worked out for said hated rivals ... ouch.
