He also is being smart and might want his contact redone also from what I'm understanding his 55 million remaining is not guaranteed. I could see where that would be a problem. A love affair could end very quickly should AD God forbid suffer an injury his kids/family security left is not guaranteed. Now I know in most peoples live we would be just fine on just a tad of his contact lol but athletes are on a different world.

Also this is a fine line yes we have culture and we are champs and players may want to play here but we need to be careful because if one star gets a contract redone then another like Jalen could eventually ask the same or be disgruntled because eventually it heads that way if they are denied. Then the eco system of the locker room changes so this is very fine line to walk.

I do think both AD and Mcvay are angling for money deservedly so but with players you need to be careful Pandora's box doesn't open.

I don't think AD comes from money though.

Which means that he can continue to make money and create better opportunities for future generations for his family. I seriously doubt he would walk away from 25-30 million. It's enough for him to live on for sure - but the more he makes, the better for his family in the long run.

He's 2 sacks from a hundo. Imagine you get EVERYTHING but leave with 98/100.

Yea exactly and with his remaining 55 million not being guaranteed he needs to do what's best for his family. I do think AD and Mcvay both want to get more money which is fine as coach always says you shoot your shot however I think there could be a lot more truth in mcvay leaving than AD .....mcvay could retire for 10 years and come back and he still only 46 lol. While doing so he can have a family and make a lot more money in the booth which we all can agree he would be excellent at. Yea AD and Mcvay need to do what best for them.

I do think though unless this is the absolute perfect environment when you rip one players contract up all be it one of the best all time another could want the same on a team of stars. All speculation though right now I could give two fucks we the champs!!!!

The first decision feels like LT… then the chips fall from there.

I am very curious to see the Rams OL strategy…. It is the most intriguing off-season story to me. MUST get it right.

Reeder, Howard, Shelton and Gay are all either restricted or exclusive rights free agents.

As long as the Rams want them, and make a tender offer, their ability to leave is next-to-none.

Noteboom is a must sign. LT's don't fall off trees
