Is this the same Jim Hardy who had a sports show on the radio in LA for years? If so he was always informative if not hilarious most of the time. He used to say stuff and then have a prop that would emit a "hee hee" laugh.
Really his style was one of a kind.
He will be missed I'm sure.

He was an early quarterback for the Rams in the 40s, same era as Waterfield. I understand that he was a big supporter/advocate of USC football. I have his 1948 card.

Heh, you're right; I got confused a bit. Thanks for sharing the vid, that certainly brings back a bunch of memories. Healy was a hoot. Used to love to listen to his show 'cuz I never knew what he was going to say next.
