Who do you think it'll be?

I'd love Eli as a bridge...but I can't see it happening.
Eli is more than a bridge - the guy has two Super Bowl rings and I doubt NY wants to usher in the Nassib years this soon

Cousins is the guy

I like the Cutler of old, this new guy has a crappy attitude, isn't a great teammate and accepts zero responsibility for his own deficiencies.
There has got to be another fairly young #2 QB out there that just needs a shot.

The Cutler of old is the same guy as the Cutler of new. A team just made the mistake of building around him as "the guy" rather than a complementary piece.

Cousins. After that Cutler.

The Giants aren't going to dump Eli and the Steelers aren't going to get rid of Rapelisburger so those possibilities to me have always been nothing more than interweb pipe dreams.

Cousins is going to want to have a chance to play football, not sit behind someone with inferior ability and frankly while Gruden was ballsy to bench Griffin he won't do it again as long as Snyder owns that team.

I see the Rams offering a fair package to WASH and getting a deal done.

@blackbart I agree BW3 is WAY over rated.......
I would be going for the show not the food

and the beer they can't really mess that up

I think he was a nicer, happier guy in Denver. Then he got a little full of himself and the result is the sulking guy we see on the sidelines today.
I don't think adding him to our roster helps our team chemistry

Fisher says there will changes? I hope he means in wins. That would be a change.

I don't know. Cutler has always been an arrogant sulky guy. I just think there was less focus on it in Denver. Plus, this year was likely made worse by all of the leadership issues with the HC and OC.

Maybe they go all in to draft Winston. If you consider that they have a ton of free agents to retain in the near future, they could do without the higher priced first round draft selections for a couple of years to help with the cap situation. As far as the roster goes would missing out on a few first rounders the next couple of years really cripple the team? They don't appear to have too many holes other than QB and Oline.

I don't trust their talent evaluators over their in Washington when it comes to the QB position :D

Don't. He's gotten plenty of snaps. And yet Washington still needs a QB. The guy is a spot starter type imo.

Cutler's the only guy I can think of that "might" be attainable and would actually be a "move" for the Rams at QB. Bringing in Cousins or McCoy or some other backup level guy would be a big "meh" move IMO.

I guess it just depends on how one views Cutler. To me, he's right on the fringe of the top tier of QB's. He's 2nd tier but real close to that next level. But I can easily see how people might view him as just another Fitzpatrick. Good enough to start and even win some games but will kill 'ya and keep you out of the playoffs.

We shall see. Build a mediocre offense and this is a playoff team. Perform miracles and give us a top 10 offense and we're looking at a champion.

I'd rather have a "meh" McCoy than any adjective you could use to describe Cutler. Match up Cutler's numbers with his overall success and his attitude and I just don't see where anyone can make a realistic case why he might be better than any of the other lesser known guys out there.

PLEASE, no to Cutler... he's done.

Cousins? Meh.

As far as Shottenheimer, if Fisher decides to do the status quo thing with him and the offense is the culprit to not getting above .500 next year, Fisher will have signed his own death warrant.

IMO, Fisher has to make a move at OC.

Well did anyone expect him to announce that they are happy with the results and they'll stand pat on what they've accomplished?
I'm thinking we can chalk this up as a bit of hyperbole, but they did shake it up a bit last year giving the boot to Walton.

I'm sure we don't rank our tiers the same way. He's in the 5th tier for me.(Tiers aren't in order)
Elite
Rodgers
Brady
P. Manning

Great
Roethlisberger
Luck
Brees
Romo

Good
Rivers
Ryan
Wilson

Above Average
E. Manning
Flacco
Newton

Average
Cutler
Smith
Bradford
Stafford
Palmer
Tannehill
Bridgewater

You could argue that Cutler is in the Above Average tier.

I pretty much agree. I wouldn't be surprised if the screws were being put to him internally though.
Fisher is a pretty loyal dude, I don't think he'd voluntarily jettison Schotty.
I see both sides of the Schotty coin for the record. I like what he's shown at times, but the inconsistencies have been mind numbing too.
I won't weep if he's gone, but I hope it's nothing too radical that will set the team backwards, e.g. Josh McDaniels in 2011.

If one of those changes is the HC being held responsible for the team's record I'm on board.
You know i know your some form of admin on here but im growing real tired of your snarky 1 line attacks with no backup to your insult or any shread of info to back up your accusations. We get it you dont like fisher we got it 50 snarky insults ago.
