1981 at Candlestick. Rams were 7 time West Champs. Thought we were going to kill them. The Rams were HUGE, Niners looked like little men.
Joe Montana looked like a midget. Tyler caught a sweet pass from Ferragamo for a TD right in front of me.
But Montana pulled out the win. You could tell all those young 49er DBs were good.

1985, week 2...and yes Dickerson was holding out, although he ended it the day before this game, but still missed this match up in Philly.

Ellard took the first Eagles punt of the game, to the house. Charles White put the game away with a TD run late.. The Rams went on to win 17-6 in a somewhat boring game.

The other noteworthy item from this game is that Randall Cunningham saw his first action in the NFL as a 3rd down specialist for Buddy Ryan. He only came in on 3rd down to "make plays"... genius move. Lol.

Not my first but I was there too.

Everett to Kevin House for a long catch-and-run-TD.

Dickerson had the Rams' other touchdown on a short (but long) run where he went one direction where there was a wall-of-defenders, so he reversed field and ran in the opposite direction for the score.

The Rams & Cowboys @ Cal Lutheran College before it was Cal Lutheran University, I would guess it was 1972. The Rams & Cowboys would scrimmage, and the scrimmages were often open to the public. After the scrimmages ended, the players would come out and meet us kids and we would get our footballs signed by them. Later, we would play with the footballs in the street like we always did, and the signatures would get rubbed and scraped off.

November 27th, 1983 at the Big A versus the Bills.

Got the tickets at 10:30am out of the blue, called up my best bud from HS and off we went. Found our seats just after kick-off. Don't remember a dang thing about the game itself though.

Old enough to recall CLC...! Even remember when they were hosting NAIA playoff games and sending Hank Bauer to the NFL.

Been to a Lakers game (1988 preseason in Hawaii).

Been to a Dodgers game (May 2022 in Florida).

The only games I've been to with Rams players was the 1st Pro Bowl in Hawaii in 1980. Yes Youngblood played with his broken leg. And later the 1993 Pro Bowl (Bettis).

Been mostly a far away fan. And that's okay.

Been on the east coast for as long as I've had my own money to spend, so I didn't actually make it to a Rams game until 2008 in DC.

I came away from that game thinking Donnie Avery was going to be a damn fine receiver. While I did do a lot of tailgating, I was not so drunk that I should have been so wrong.

1996 vs the Panthers, I can't remember if that was in Clemson or in Charlotte.

Ive been lucky enough to see 2 Super Bowls the Rams played in, and numerous playoff games. Hope the ride continues....

Nov 9, 1958. 49ers vs Rams @LA Colosseum. Billy Wade threw 4 tds and Rams won 56-7. Attendance was 103, 234, a record that stood over 50 years and I was there with my Dad and my uncle, one of my fondest memories.
Wow that's cool. You are an OG! That stand for original gansta (for you old dudes).

My first Rams game was Rams at Niners in either 1980 or 1981, I cant recall which year and am too lazy to look it up.

My uncles took me to Candlestick every year for 4 to 5 years straight to see the Rams.

I remember seeing Leroy Irvin block a last 2nd FG for the Rams win one year and I remember Jerry Rice's rookie season having a nice game vs the Rams at candlestick, towards the end of the season.

I'll need to go down memory lane and pull up all the candlestick footage vs the Rams in the 80's.

Sept 27th 1998 in Stl vs Arizona Cardinals. Rams lost which was not the story.
was living in So Fl and working for MCI Worldcom at the time.

We had a leadership meeting at the Ed Convention center the same day of that Ram Game starting at 12:00 and the meeting was scheduled for 3:00 so all I had to do was walk out of the Ram game through the glass doors into the convention center as the game ended. We were told that if we were late we could not attend. and that's part of the story.

It was also the Sunday of the last game of the regular season and Mark McGuire was going for 70 homers right down the road. I wanted to attend that game but the warning of being late to the meeting kept me from attending the baseball game and I went the safe route seeing the Rams. That's another part of the story.

Cool thing being at the Rams game and the stadium erupting with each of McGuires 2 home runs. I was jealous I couldn't be there but what a cool day to be in the Lou. That's the main story.

Growing up closer to SF than LA my first game was Rams playing 49ers at Candlestick Park. I think it was somewhere around 1975. Rams won that one with James Harris at quarterback.

I went with some friends in a motorhome. They picked me up around 7 in the morning. It was a warm September day in Fresno. I was in shorts and a tee shirt. One guy said "Trust me, go get something warm. You'll thank me for it". So I grabbed sweat pants and my Rams coat. He wasn't kidding. It was damn cold there.

So what was the fondest memory you took with you that day? Did it have something to do with making a pup tent in the morning or kissing Wendy Peffercorn?

You got to get him while you can. He might be off the grid piping that tent. Not as easy to get up now a days for him. Maybe sleeping in the banana
hammock.

First game was a 9er Rams. Parking in the street paying someone to watch the car.

HMMMMM first Rams game was i believe a 96-97 preseason game. I remember it because we had just drafted Tony Banks. Here in St Louis a lot of the local radio stations called him "pretty tony" and they did a skit about him and coach Vermeil that was hilarious. I enjoyed going to all the games in St Louis but nothing will compare to that 99 season. The Dome was rocking probably the loudest stadium i've been in besides the Superdome in New Orleans. And also in 99 if you wasn't in your seat by kickoff you probably missed the Rams first score thats how electric the 'greatest show on turf" offense was. #GoodTimes

Been a fan since the Roman Gabriel days, but as a kid, my parents never took us anywhere outside Ventura County. I didn't get to my first Rams game in person until November 10, 1991 when I was 30 years old. Rams, Chiefs at the Big A. They lost 27-20. I still have the ticket stub.
On a side note. I went to the last game ever played at the Big A on December 24, 1994. Then went to the first game when they returned to Los Angeles Aug 13 2016 Preseason against the Cowboys at the Coliseum (Also attended first Reg season home game Seachickens game Sept 18, 2016). Never made it to St Louis, but would travel to Phoenix every year and see them at Sun Devil Stadium or Glendale when it opened.
