Probably far more in certain markets and for certain games.I'd bet that 20-30% of NFL tickets are sold to brokers.
I think the problem really is that as long as the NFL can sell tickets and as long as looking the other way on scalpers (let’s call a duck a duck) means that tickets sell for more than face and create a fake high demand status, the NFL won’t do a damn thing.
I’m not one to point at the NFL and complain that they are greedy mofos. It’s when they try to claim they care about something besides money and their actions demonstrate otherwise.
I haven’t really seen where they claim to care about this issue. Have they?
