Murray's known to not want to do the work. He's an overpaid piece of shit. Nobody will trade for him no matter how much AZ features him. They're in "overpaying a shit QB hell" and the check is coming due over and over and over for them.

I'm really intrigued by the first round wideouts. I think it's a priority for the Rams to add speed outside the hash on both sides of the ball, so it is likely in play as an option in this draft (as is corner). But since it feels like we'll be picking moreso close to 20ish than lower teens that means we won't be looking at Harrison, Nabers, or Odunze. I think there's massive dropoff after Nabers (to Odunze) but he's so physical and talented that you can bet McVay would snap him up if he's there when we're up. But those qualities mean he's probably off the board.

It also means, though, that the Rams have their pick of a big group of options thereafter who range through that late first round into early second round. Question is who are the fits among them. There some really interesting options and my favorite is a big rangy bastid with all the tools you want outside, plus he's physical.

Here's his highlights vs Miss St this year:

If we're taking a wideout in the first round (assuming we pick very late), I really fucking want Johnny Wilson (Florida State). 6'7", 237 lbs., 36 inch arm length, top speed was 21 mph. And he's not just a one-trick pony; he's used on slants, curls, gos, deep ins, etc. at Florida State, and he plays to his size; he's physical in blocking and boxing out. He hasn't been much of a factor for Florida State compared to last year (only two touchdowns and over 600 yards compared to six touchdowns and over 800 yards last year), but you dream of the physical traits, and honestly, he reminds me a lot of Megatron coming out.

What I want is someone who can make big plays for us outside the hash or over the top. Much as I love Kupp & Nacua they're only a risk to break a tackle and get a first down for the most part. The explosives percentages per pass could help us a lot and those come in those two areas primarily.

If they take a guy like that early I'm fine with it. Or more of a project in a later round that's fine too. But what I'm looking for:

1. Speed. Has to have the wheels to threaten a TD the moment he's in space. Tutu has this but this alone is not enough.

2. Hands and aggressive to the ball. Has to be a guy who attacks the ball without Yarbs barking at him to play like a big man.

3. Physical threat is great too, but not completely needed outside of we know a blocking ability is a requirement. Can't be some guy who is a shitter in the run game, has to at least be willing to block so Rams can develop that.

Basically a classic X wideout we can watch develop into a beast. Tutu lacks too many other elements. Reynolds lacked the wheels and aggressiveness. Rams have the QB to make the throws on a rope all over the field but they need that third heat.

You know who fits the profile of a deep threat and has good size and who would be interesting to draft? I like his all around game and picking him would be just a huge thumb in his daddy's teams eye :)
