I remember this as if it was yesterday. Loved how he was worried if we could replace "Josh Johnson".

He kept it up all season as well, doubting our process of trading picks. Said the same thing after the Miller trade also.
Or maybe he just has it in for the Rams or Snead? Anyone know of any bad blood?

It could just be jealousy. Think about how many GMs bumble through draft after draft with no success. Then along comes Snead trading all of those high picks and it works out. It goes against everything these guys were taught. They wasted a career by being conservative. I’m sure he’s envious of Snead.

Thing is this approach does not just work on every team.

Fire Snead and hire Tannenbaum?

After the Rams SB victory, you must be bored wanting to fire back at Tannenbaum for his pathetic views on the Rams prior to their SB victory.

Tannenbaum is one of many NFL pundits that blasted the Rams for their team building philosophies.

Tannenbaum is one of many so-called experts that got Rams wrong.

He's a former NFL GM no longer employed for a reason.

Now he's a NFL media hack trying to earn a paycheck..

Tannenbaum opinions are shock jock crap to push his brand and stay employed as an NFL analyst .

No longer an NFL GM for

You got to have an owner who is willing to spend and eat alot of dead money. Now if they just do it to get a QB that is not the same as what the Rams have done.

I think many of the old heads are simply jealous of the whole McVay thing. 30 yr old coach, gets a lot of publicity, yet many predicted he would fail. And whenever he stumble's they are quick to double down. Then you add in the whole f**k them picks storyline and it makes their head's explode because this is not the way you are supposed to do it.

All he did is pick against the Rams all year and every playoff game. On Stafford on there methods he is indeed a joke. Another one here in my for whatever reason he is a Lakers fan but just every playoff game Kyler Murray .. The goat .....Kyle and Debozo....picked against the Rams obviously both lost this man is Chris Canty.

Canty is articulate he knows his shit typically I like him though he can be a bully at times or sensitive if you disagree with him or even push back for whatever reason though had no faith in the Stafford and the Rams just a sheep following the rest of the media but I will say Bart Scott might be a bit over the top at times but that dude knows his shit he would make an excellent coach and didn't waiver to much on the rams. His X's and O's are tight. Good judge of character too he was on to "The Bug" before anyone wasn't even close I'm talking over a year and a half maybe and he got crucified for it. Now that he seems to be right everyone just brushed over it.

Going back to Tanny though he is a dipshit jealous of Snead which is why he is working the job he is working nobody wants him near their team.
What is "The Bug"?

Agree completely.

The way the Rams have done football business over the past five years, makes some of the long-standing "foundation-ways" to do things look antiquated; and that can make the 'old heads' less relevant.

You have to admit that even Denver trading for Wilson is not the same thing as what the Rams have been doing. 1st Wilson has won a SB and had some very good years and has been on the NFL radar since his 1st year. For the collective, he is worth it for a franchise just missing a QB. Stafford floundered in obscurity and for many not willing to really watch his film was flashy but still unknown. and the rams risked a lot on him.
The other big difference is, they haven't been trading away picks for the last 6 years.
Yes Denver similarly traded a bundle of picks to get a QB, but it was not there normal way of doing business and not for an unknown.

That was the man's main point. He wasn't wrong about the risk. He was wrong about the pay off.
This situation is different.

Mike Tannebaum know the draft doesn't end after the 1st round
Love It A.R. !
He is using his ability (or lack there of) to draft to gauge Sneads ability and it just doesn't add up in his talentless brain.

you must be bored
I was and I just happen to come across it.
I get your point about the many pundits last year, but this video probably
got to me a little more.
Just the fact of an x-GM that was so bad that, he should not be employed by anyone for his opinions on
the game of football. And yet here he is trying to discredit one the most talented - outside the box GM's in the game.

Ah, so it’s like someone like me who struggles with fractions criticizing how a calculus teacher performs calculations

When you look at the NFL and realize that there is only one winner each year, why wouldn't you go for broke every year, instead of just
staying mired in mediocrity year after year?

Seems that most GMs are trying just hard enough to not get fired.
