Yeah, but I went to the end and watched one guy accusing the other of blowing Orlovsky, and then finishing him off by posting a GIF of a girl being pelted in the face by 20 hotdogs.
LMFAO you are the thread winner my friend

I might actually feel sorry for the guy if you was actually any good. But truth of the matter is he was terrible when he could have proved himself. I think orlovsky needs just be grateful for the time he's had in the NFL as it is

So he was expecting a free paycheck to do nothing? I dont want him near Goff with that attitude. We got QB/OC coaches and McVay to work with Goff. This guy can F off. McVay probably expected that he would perform at least serviceable and he failed to even do that. He blew his chance, he should be blaming himself.
Yeah, I don't care if he is around or not either.
He wasn't brought in to play that is for sure.
But, if he wasn't that adept at helping the younger guys then might as well bring in a young guy that might develop.
But, none of us know what the deal was when he signed, that's all I was saying.

Well, the way Kyle Sloter was treated with the Denver Broncos was uncalled for, but again he didn't say anything. The key is just stay humble. Things don't go your way it's life. Just stay humble. I don't know why 21-year old Jake Ellenbogen has to say that about a 34-year old, but oh well.
Very true.
First thing I told the guys around me....clean up, make private or get off social media.
Same advice I have given friends going through a divorce.

When I interview these guys some of them outright tell me they stay off of everything besides their texting.

Smart.
I don't do it and I certainly wouldn't do it their position. I've had a co worker or two canned for their social media stupidity.
The friend going through a divorce....man, it was tough. The ex posting crap. But, you don't want her to be able to pull stuff up in a court if it got to that point. I even took his laptop and phone for a couple of days so he didn't have access. He said he didn't want me to take them but thanked me later.

Yeah, I try to stay humble and opinionated on social media. Obviously I don't even get into politics. Really just sports debate and I avoid calling players trash. I maybe in the minority here but I can't stand the hate Blake Bortles gets. I am hoping he kills it this year and shows people up.

The Rams released Dan Orlovsky this past weekend. After the release and during the post-cutdown day press conference, Rams Head coach Sean McVay spoke on the possibility of bringing Orlovsky back in the building as a QB mentor to young QB's Jared Goff and Sean Mannion.

Well, that was until the Rams found Brandon Allen on the waiver wire and claimed in on Monday. The Rams plans changed, it's the NFL and it happens a lot. However, Orlovsky, a career backup and one that struggled mightily in his preseason finale start in Green Bay tweeted this out.

Unfortunately, a career veteran backup QB took to social media to release his frustrations out to the world. It's not the first time McVay has been ripped for something (see Mike Martz) and it certainly won't be the last. However, it's kind of sad to see someone who has been in the league for years not recognize a business decision when it occurs. Bottom line is that the Rams originally planned to bring back Orlovsky, but then a better offer and an offer they couldn't refuse was presented to them.

In all seriousness everyone makes mistakes and Orlovsky might have made one that was straight off of impulse. However, in a sense that Allen is not a shoe-in for the Rams moving forward and could be cut if he doesn't perform to the level they expect and want to see in practice. It certainly hurts an unemployed QB's chance of being his replacement now after likely burning bridges with the organization and coach McVay who just spoke extremely high of him this past weekend.

Dear Dan,

Take a big step back from your own self-pity and take an honest look at how your inability to play the QB position negated any chance of others to make the team. While you're looking around, find a mirror and take a good hard look at who's responsible for your position. Quit whining and own your :poop:! Stop blaming others!

Good luck jack@$$!

Orlovsky had a chance to earn a job. He failed to do so. That's his failure. If you didn't want McVay to bring in another QB, you should have put NFL caliber film out there.

Dan O has made over $10M in his career.
Most would be stoked to be considered less than average in their career and pull that down.
File it under "it went well overall" Dan.
