I played against Tony Collins in high school. If you recall, he was the starting RB for the patriots when the bears whipped them 46 - 10 I believe. He was around 5'11" and 210 pounds all muscle and fast as fuck.
Worked with a guy that played against Marshall Faulk as part of the now-defunct Cal State Northridge football program.

And I once had dinner with Regis Philbin.

Too funny. I mentioned that my brother in law graduated from Pepperdine. My sister (his wife) graduated from CSUN. You stalking me?

Started at Guard and D-end through Junior High.
Once played for a Rams team in YMCA league-we had horn helmet decals…we were a good team and played for a city championship against a team quarterbacked by former Arkansas coach Houston Nutt.

Dropped football in HS for rodeo and reining. Cowboy shit. We were on the road every weekend to horse shows and rodeos.

Still love both.

One thing I never considered doing was playing Semi Pro ball heard too many horror stories from relatives that played.

How was your Canadian experience? I have heard if you’re a star it’s fine, not so much for the fringe players.
I loved it, had a blast and made a lot of great friends! Was perfect for the person I was in my early-mid 20s
