Time and age has a way of fixing that never fear. :laugh4:

I know it's partly the angle of that photograph but I would be surprised if he was 215 - 220.

He does look safety sized, unfortunately.

Weird angle

Find the pics of him next to Wagner. He’s not a big LB, but he’s not u derailed. 6-2 230 have been consistently his numbers.

You would think that{ Green Dot} Wagner will direct the thinner more mobile Ernest Jones into a position to place him so he can make the play that maximizes his skills. Wagner will use his accumulated skills backpack to work the HD middle gap filler that he has always done so well. Just feels like a perfect inside LB duo.

With the OLB'ers of Floyd/ Hollins/ Lewis / Garrett & Hardy crashing in from the edges sure gets me drooling for this regular season to begin. The starting safety tandem is still unknown at this time. With 3 new DB coaches this season (Jonathan Cooley/ Chris Shula & Lance Schulters) we may be in for a big surprise as to which safeties start.

I've seen some old guys whose bodies shrink that end up being nothing but a head.

Is Jones "more mobile"?

Sure... Wagner's got years on him.. but Bobby ran a 4.46 to Jones 4.72.

One of Jones' more interesting traits is his length.. for a guy 6-2... he's got long arms and huge hands.. one of the reasons he makes so many plays on the ball.
