Great career move for Henderson if he wants to be NFL DC. So much better for him to get play-calling experience ... DL coaches were promoted to DC - about about 4-5 in NFL. This will big for his career path.

Well - your right in some ways, but ultimately there is a core of coaches that continue to keep the structure in tact.


Sean Mcvay needed a refresher last season. I’d actually say 2023 was his worst game to game play calling.Mike Lafleur will keep him centered.Zac Robinson is a coach The Rams need,but Jake Peetz is there in the wings.
—Ron Gould was a great addition.Yarber & Kromer have meant a lot though since day 1 with Mcvay.
—D- end of it Shula has been the only constant,but having Aubrey back as the DB(CB) coach was a big addition 2023.

No Doubt though your right. Mcvay beats to his own drum,making sure the band keeps producing those hits.

Kevin Demoff is a HUGE reason as well.He made his speech & was right in a few ways. The Rams made the Playoffs & he said he was more excited about 2022 than 2023 after the draft.

Kevin Dotson was a huge addition.In that Cinncy game he should have been activated.Mcvay not moving Noteboom to LT almost got Matthew Stafford killed.Then having him catch a 2 point conversion against Dallas would have cost The Rams the season!!!
In 2022 there was that Tampa game that changed the season.
Bobby Evans did get both Stafford & Kupp hurt in a way ?
Kyren being healthy in 2023. Cam Akers did his thing again.

Sean Mcvay always says football is the ultimate team sport.Je makes sure it works.Les Snead has really created his silly formula that he finally got right in 2023.

Well worth it to get somebody like that on your staff.His recruiting & Rep will be off the charts as well.

He was already a good recruiter,now his knowledge & what a players coach he is is going to benefit USC !!

Henderson is an excellent positional coach. He apparently will be more involved in game planning so it's a big promotion. He's always been considered a coach that produces consistently quality players.

Best wishes to him and thanks for the years. I'm shocked he wasn't poached right after the Super Bowl.
