Man, if Foles would have released the ball a little sooner......
Exactly ....As soon as he finishes the fake, let that puppy go..looked like it fluttered a lil bit...Like it went up too high or something...he'll get that fixed in practice....

One of the MAnY dimes Cig drew up...Cig was on...I keep saying he's got a natural flow to his play calls...You could see it in camp & preseason...

Don't cb's normally jam Tavon to prevent this? Seems like Sherman had a bad game.
I wish...I hope somebody does an all-22 thing on Tavon....I can't see what he's running most plays...why he's not open more, or what he's running...I'm real interested in his year 3 development. @-X- does this I believe...or was it @DR RAM ?

Sherman looked vulnerable all game...Looked like something was wrong with Thomas....He wasn't all over the field either...Hell Wagner looked average too...

I loved how often we were getting him the ball. You can take a couple minus plays from Tavon, although I hope those minus yards are him going forward and just getting stopped for -1, and as long as you keep getting him the ball he will eventually make something happen.

Not too mention he really deserved earning a PI by Sherman.

As long as we don't discuss that first drive when TA ran backwards and almost got a safety

Yeah if Foles throws that ball about 10 yards earlier that's a TD in stride. Oh well one of his few mistakes in a good game.

Blatant PI.

You guys may not have seen it on TV... but TA was pissed that the ref didn't throw the obvious flag. The crowd was going nuts after the replay.

What it shows me is TA has learned the nuances of route running. He head fakes Sherman and simply left him in the breeze.

Those are the things that will make him a different player...understanding HOW to use his speed!

I like how Sherman literally held and pulled Tavon's hand as soon as he caught up with him and DIDN'T get called for PI. I didn't see that coming.

This is the big issue with QB/receiver rapport. Nick has to get a very fine feel for how fast Tavon can move. And Tavon has to learn how to adjust well to errant passes. There are exceedingly few CB's, if any, who can even begin to run with Tavon, especially if he throws in some juke moves to complicate coverage. Tavon running deep will demand a safety on top, which frees other receivers running underneath. Our smallest Mountaineer can become the greatest decoy in the league if he learns how to effectively sell routes. If he needs help there, he can consult the master---Sir Isaac Bruce.

Tavon may be small, but his electric speed & quicks makes him a nightmare to try to jam. They can easily use him to clear out the underneath area and allow other receivers to get easy one-on-one coverage.

Hopefully Foles can get some chemistry with Tavon because if he does, there's a lot of potential there. Foles and D-Jax killed it in 2013. As the video shows, Tavon can blow by one of the best in the game with his speed. If Foles and him get on the same page, that will be a very dangerous pairing. Especially with Cook and Quick working those intermediate routes. And Stedman catching everything. :D

Someone photoshop in a puddle of quicksand or something, swallowing up Sherman. Tavon makes it look like Sherman got tangled up in something - man, that dude can run!

I'm finally pretty happy with where our receiver corps is at. Sure, having a superstar no. 1 would be good, but the way this team is built, we don't have to rely on it. Britt and Quick for the big, physical threats, Tavon and Givens for speed and Steadman for everything - seriously, keep him in on all plays! That's a good group, with the potential to be great.

This was the type of play I'd have liked to see from Austin and Bradford! Of course now it'll be Foles pitching the ball to Tavon!
