I just wanted to press fast forward and move onto the Bears game on MNF. Talking and thinking about the Niners game just pisses me off to no end and Im not sure theres anything positive to discuss regarding that game. We beat ourselves more than anything. Completely out of sync on both sides of the ball.
The Bears seem like their usual tough/blue collar/ lunch pail/strong defense and conservative offensive selves from the past couple years. I fear Foles at QB much more than Trubisky. They have some weapons outside in Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller and the resurgence of Jimmy Graham at TE. Their D is pretty loaded and close talent wise to their 2018 team that went 12-4. They hardly blitz and get pressure from their front and OLBs. Mack is a nightmare and their secondary is solid (Fuller and Jackson are studs). Robert Quinn whom we all know and love is coming on strong for them. I see this as a defensive battle coming down to time of possession and kicking game being real important. Gonna be a 20-17 game or something close. What are your thoughts?

There is no reason our defense can't shut the Bears the hell out.

We need to man up and play physical, the Bears have barely beat bottom feeder teams.

If we don't come out like a pack of dogs with rabies then we don't deserve to win.

Need to make a dam statement in this game. Need Donald to get the ball out of Foles hands and need to get Cam Akers involved.

We also need the WR's to redeem themselves by catching balls in traffic while taking some hits In a physical game.

To be frank, the Bears aren't that good. If they can't beat them they can't beat anyone worth beating. It's that simple.

The Bears have a bad offense. Their defense is still quite good. Hopefully, McVay can establish the run. Our defense should be able to hold them in check.

I think this is key, establishing the run. Forget that Brown is on the team and play Hendo and Akers

Bears' plan hasn't changed... Beat up the good offense and turn the game into a scrum lol.

Really want to beat these guys. Finally get a home game. Hopefully Rams come out early and make a statement. Bears seen able to pull out wins late so I hope it’s not close at the end of the game.

I would feel alot better about this if it wasn't a prime time game.

Maybe McVay is a 6am type of person?

I mean seriously, I couldn't motivate a hyper monkey at 6am, but in the evening after 6 beers, I could get anyone excited. Maybe McVay is the opposite?

The bears play ugly but they arent a bad team and at this point, have more quality wins than we do.

Nick Foles isnt supremely skilled but he's lowkey one of the smartest and cool headed QBs in the League. He does just enough to be dangerous.

The key to beating them is turnovers. They have survived their schedule thus far due to timely turnovers in their favor. Jared has gotten so much better at not fumbling so its a matter of not throwing any picks.

21-14 win i believe.

The good thing is, the Bears quarterback is garbage. Probably the worst starting QB in the league. Maybe the defense can start getting some turnovers.

Foles isn't garbage. He beat Brady in the Super Bowl and came back the following year and beat the Bears at Soldier Field. He beat the Rams twice recently. He’s not garbage. Its only his 3rd start for Chicago-he will only make that offense better-IMO he’s a significant improvement over Trubisky. The QB for the Bears has to be a game manager and can not turn the ball over. Gets a big throw in crunch time when he has to to keep the drive going. The Rams have to jump out to a lead and start fast. If they fall behind like they did against SF then the Bears can tee off on D and play keep away on offense.

We are probably not going to get that Foles. We're gonna get determined Foles. Secondary needs to be ready, playing the call and heads up because Nick is gonna play balls out with risky throws and the whole nine.

We averaged 5.9 per carry against SF, the run game was very effective. But it doesn't matter how well you run the ball on early downs if you cant convert through the air on 3rd. 4-12 was the story there. We need to come out and be waaaaay sharper on offense because their D is better than SF's. And they will get more pressure on Goff than SF did, so hopefully we're ready for it and play better.

I am extremely worried after yesterday's blowout of the cowboys that were actually a very average team that just happened to play the leagues worst.

Rams opened as 7.5 point favorites- the line has calmed down to about 5 to 5.5.
If I was a gambler I would put money on Chicago with that line. I see zero reason why we should be a 6 POINTS favorite against a 5-1 team, as suspect as it would be. The Bears beat bad teams, but the also beat the Bucs. We beat 4 bad teams and lost against the only two good ones.

I'm not saying we're terrible or that our season is done, but come on, 6 point line against Chicago ? I think it's ridiculous
