And to clarify something about the tush push (known as the Butt Fuck to me)...

Recently, the dirtbag who threw his assistant coaches under the bus for Bounty Gate (Asshole Face, Denver's HC) said the Butt Fuck is nothing more than a well executed QB Sneak.

Well, that is COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULLSHIT. The play known as the QB Sneak has never had a 350 pound lineman pushing the ass of the QB forward so his body will be forced forward, and even through the defensive linemen. Basically the QB is nothing more than a holder of the football having his body and the ball forced forward by a giant player behind him on the Butt Fuck. The QB Sneak has never had a player push the QB forward across the line to gain... because that fucking shit has always been ILLEGAL up until a few years ago when they changed the rules just to accommodate this play.

Meanwhile, Defenses are still prohibited from forcing/leveraging but now the offenses are not. That is absolutely unfair and fucking stupid.

The Butt Fuck isn't even a football play.

It seems the NFL is taking a page from Jerry Jones book of Media relations. If they are talking about it, it is good for us.

I prefer calling it the “Butt Plug”. F Siriani and the Eagles.

Ha... looks like you somehow missed the part where I clearly stated "I'd leave the pistol in the car".

Maybe you should pick up a pair of readers young man.

The fucked up part is if the DL goes on the movement of the RG, they get called for offsides or neutral zone infraction, still resulting in 1st down or half the distance to goal.

There's no time to react because the ball is snapped before the dt can react. That's why the play works so well. The guard has already won the leverage battle because he had an early start.

Yup, not too long ago you could not push your teammate forward. That was the NFL as I knew it.
Why change it ?
Go back to normal kickoff's while you are at it.

If the owners don't ban the tush push this offseason, I'd be absolutely shocked. The league cannot allow a clear and obvious violation of the rules to happen 75% of the time this is attempted. It ruins the game and gives an unfair advantage to one single team.

3rd and 6 or 4th and 6 makes a huge difference

It’s a massive advantage to convert so many 4th downs but it’s clearly more of a hack than a well designed football play and should have been outlawed. It’s only a matter of time before a serious defensive injury if there hasn’t been one already. To make it worse the refs never seem to call clear infringements

I thought it was a travesty when the iggles had like 1st and goal on the 3 and ran the tush push like 3 or 4 times in a row until they scored. If the refs properly call false start when it's warranted, that ends the tush push unless they want to try it on 4th and 6.
