I don’t buy that. He’s not the first player I’ve seen do that or something similar. He did it how many previous times and then that time was all of a sudden a penalty?

Either they call it the whole game or don’t. They straight up selectively called it. I hate playing ref blame for losing but holy hell were they atrocious. Even with Adam’s TD I thought for sure was going to get called and the amount of delay of games they let slide.
Feel free to disagree with me, you already are. That’s okay.

Most times, players will spin it after a TD, but out of the end zone or in the very back. Not at a player’s feet, which could be called as taunting. Further, we don’t know what Puka said, it’s probably not a good idea to make accusations without knowing the full story.

I agree with you on the Adams TD, I got nervous too. He didn’t even need to push off with one arm, just chop the arm away to separate. The OPI noncall on the Eagles 3rd down was horrid. Two arms extended with three yards of separation. If you can’t see that, don’t officiate.

With delays of game, the play clock is not official. Most officials use a ref timer on their hip. Further, many referees will instruct their crews to not flag if the snap is imminent.

There are a lot of people on the internet who are saying the Rams got robbed by this officiating crew. Not just a couple of bad calls or non calls but several. look at that Puka call it was total BS. And it's not just Rams fans.
I forgot about the taunting call on Puka, which was total horse shit. He did the same flex multiple times in the first two games. It was never a penalty. Awful, awful refereeing.

Dude he did it at least 2 times before it got called.

Puka did spin the ball first,so that could have been the taunting.Still if that was why then it was way delayed.

Mcvay did the flex in front of the Ref,SO I think that was the call ?Really piss poor to know the Truth’s

The sad thing is - -the official stats show the penalties at something like 40 yards and 50 yards against each team....

What that doesn't measure is the points off the board or the theoretical gain of 35 yards that was wiped out.
Refe kept purposely killing the momentum. Yes we had opportunities but that made it much harder to try to put the game away. Fuck these crooked ass refs.

The play that is really bothering me is the pass to Puka around the 15 yd line at the end of that last drive. The defender never looked for the ball he just blanketed Puka and had both hands on him before the ball got there. If that was called what it clearly was pass interference the spot for the field goal would have been closer and Karty could have kicked the ball higher avoiding a blocked kick.
The NFL needs to bring all the refs in and school them on what is pass interference and what's not. Or they need to make it reviewable.
I know the Rams let them back into the game but that Staford drive with under 2 min left was taken away from him. That may have been the most maddening disappointing and heartbreaking loss of any McVay team.

What about when the Eagles converted a 4th down in the field of play in the 4th? Qtr.

Verse ripped the ball out of hurts' hands and the Rams recovered the ball. His knee never hit the ground. It wasn't in the endzone so the play isn't over as soon as the ball crossed the line. Why wasn't it turnover and why didn't the Rams challenge? No way the refs blew the whistle before verse ripped the ball out.

They did blow the whistle prior to the ball being ripped out.
