Our defense hasn’t faced a top Oline with a quick back like Swift.

Need to knock him on his ass and make him think twice about where he is running.

we are going to have to put up points to win this game.... our young defense will have a tough time with their unique offense.

Don’t the 49ers have a pretty good OL and RB?
No where near the Oline of the Eagles. They sent 3 Olineman to the Pro Bowl last year. SF sent one.

and Swift is much quicker with his jukes then McAffrey in my book. Even though McCaffrey is a better overall back.

But yea the Niners were the best test so far.

Eagles are supposed to be among the elite. We're supposed to be a lower tier team. Yet, Eagle fans on one of their forums don't seem to be as confident as I would expect. They played 4 games. Not exactly a who's who with their opponents. They haven't won any games decisively considering the quality of their opponents. Tampa is 3-1 but does anyone consider them a quality team?

I can't say we can be confident in any game this year. But I'm not as pessimistic as I was before the season. To me these games are 50/50. Two things can swing in our favor. The offensive line stays healthy. And limit mistakes. That happens and we have a chance.

Maybe they’re just not as entitled and bratty as the Niners fans we’re used to.

Are you kidding me with Noteboom on the injury report AGAIN. Something new every week. Hopefully Jackson can go. Noteboom is good for depth only.

Thought Boom played really well last week, however, I concur, Boom is great for depth like he was for Whitworth. Hopefully Jackson is not similar as he has also struggled in that area, but that isn't as large of a body of work as Boom.

The Rams are easily the best offense the Eagles have faced thus far this season.
The only team with a winning record they've faced is the Bucs. The Bucs 3 wins were against teams with losing records. So yeah, the Rams are their toughest match through the first 5 games. Its not something I woulda thought a month ago.

Noteboom has to toughen up. He gets hurt more than any player on the team. Is he just out of shape or what?

behind pay wall but here’s part of the article.

By Dianna Russini, Jourdan Rodrigue and Jake Ciely

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles barring any setbacks, according to team sources. Here’s what you need to know:

  • While the Rams are being cautious about keeping him on a count at practice, Kupp looks “sharp.” He’s felt good enough to extend for the football, even making a one-handed grab, per sources.
  • Kupp, 30, has started the season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
  • Los Angeles designated Kupp to return to practice Wednesday, and league sources said at the time that he was pushing to play Sunday.

How has Kupp looked at practice?

Kupp was a full participant at practice all week (despite Wednesday’s listing of “limited”). From the time media is allowed to view practice, I watched Kupp run through a variety of routes in individual drills, and he looked sharp with what appeared to be good trust in the leg that he had issues with.

He did play really well last week. And it's funny Jackson has been handed the starting job twice and gotten injured both times but people seem to be willing to over look that. Won't matter though as this week Boom is out so Jackson had better hope he can stay healthy.
