For this experience the journey itself is the vacation.
I get that, just not really my style. Don't get me wrong, I get the appeal of stepping into the past a bit, I've done a few "D-Day jumps" where we get to jump out over Normandy in WWII gear and it was a lot of fun. If I'm doing a journey is the vacation thing I'd rather do a trek in Nepal, or up to Machu Picchu or something, but that's just me. I'm one of their weirdos who likes walking, and looking at the natural world.
