It's a fun exercise but so hard to do when the quality of the players available may chance the thought process.since i don't know the college players that well i thought it might be fun to see the position that members think we should pick my choice would be the first pick goes for ol tackle 2nd choice goes for ol Guard this with what we already have plus a few late round picks in years to come should take care of the oline for 10 years. Than with 3rd and forth rounders pick edge rushers this should let us
Not only that but free agency or a trade. Suppose they sign or acquire Burns? Hell I like the kid from Detroit who was injured and started the 21 day window but inactive today. He played half a year last year and had 8 sacks. If we get an Edge in free agency (significant edge), then we may not draft one too high. Still could draft one but maybe one who drops. It's a fun exercise but so hard to do when the quality of the players available may chance the thought process.
Edge first for me, of course, but from what I've seen so far, not sure there's one available there for us that's worth it without a trade.
Totes, draft is so dependent on FA. Hard to really get into it till FA hits first... other than maybe where the strengths of the draft are.Not only that but free agency or a trade. At some point, I want them to take a stud ILB to put along side EJ. Every team in the playoffs seems to have 2 good ILBs.

I think it's another year without a good ILB class. (Last years poor class was one of the reasons the Lions took Campbell so high - though that might have been a mistake). The meta in the NFL was devaluing LBs and in both college and NFL to have guys who would be typically safety type physically, playing the LB position now. (We were at the forefront of that with Mark Barron). Now, with the run game re-emerging as a threat on offense and more gap scheme being played, ILB has taken on a bit more significance again.
It's one of the reasons the Rams are looking to extend Jones and not let him go with a cheap draft replacement.
Sorry man! I haven't done a deep dive (let's be honest, it'll be shallow) on the draft yet but that's the word on the street about ILB.Well nothing like killing my buzz!!!!
