Look at the way the scoring rules are set up before you stack your board, that's something I have overlooked a couple times in the past. Then adjust things from there. If you go RB at the top then you gotta be smart with your QB and depending on how sharp the other players are you might still be able to snag a good signal caller.
I suspect Darnold is going to be a fantasy surprise this year. Look hard at the QBs who might arrive this year, they're a better way to go IMO than a pedestrian type who is going to cost you games vs the better rosters. Oh and pay attention to bye weeks.

Headlined by a Terrific Backfield, Feral Hog Dilemma Have a Stacked Squad
Draft Summary
Having the top pick in the draft doesn't always lead to a championship-caliber squad. But it very well could in this case. Feral Hog Dilemma did what professional fantasy footballers do when they land the No. 1 overall pick. They put together a juggernaut. The team is particularly strong at running back, as Saquon Barkley and Leonard Fournette are expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Feral Hog Dilemma are projected to finish in first place in first down football league with a mark of 12-2 (3,076 points).
Vance McDonald
Biggest Steal
Feral Hog Dilemma netted a nice late-round bargain with the selection of McDonald in the 10th round, about 14 picks later than his ADP of 86. Following a season in which he had 50 receptions for 610 yards and 4 TDs, totaling 133 fantasy points, McDonald is projected to score 186 fantasy points with the Steelers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 TE for this squad.
Leonard Fournette
Stretch Pick
We're going to give you a little bit of credit and assume you took the dog out right before the selection of Fournette at No. 21, about 14 picks earlier than his ADP of 35. Granted, you may be onto something? Projected to score 507 fantasy points this season with the Jaguars, he seems poised to outperform last year when he rushed for 439 yards and 5 TDs and grabbed 22 balls for 185 yards and 1 TD over 8 games to post 253 fantasy points. According to projections, Fournette will slot in as the No. 2 RB for Feral Hog Dilemma to begin the season.
Draft Notes
- With only three quarterbacks off the board, Feral Hog Dilemma saw a run coming and got in early, taking Baker Mayfield with the 1st pick in the 7th round. In the round that followed, three more quarterbacks were snatched up.
- Week 9 could bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Feral Hog Dilemma, as they have four players on a bye (Devonta Freeman, Los Angeles, Robert Woods, and A.J. Green). Fishheads, your Week 9 opponent, won't be quite as limited with only two players (Alvin Kamara and Wil Lutz) on a bye.
- With a strength of schedule rated as the 3rd-easiest according to projected records, Feral Hog Dilemma face one of the least challenging schedules in first down football league this season.
- Feral Hog Dilemma seem to be counting on youthful exuberance, putting together a lineup with an average of 3.9 years of NFL experience, ranking as the 2nd-youngest group in the league. Driving home that point, they selected one rookie (Darwin Thompson). In total, there were 11 rookies selected over the course of the first down football league draft.
