The typing gets frustrating to listen to ? Always a lot of back ground noise ?

Good podcast though . Thanks for sharing.

Will see what happens with Suh ?Maybe he is meant to be a Ram ? You make a good point on the dollars as well .

As far as Joyner goes though ? Do you think the trading of Quinn had anything to do with his protest ? To me he was never the smartest player , & was he totally committed to football ? Because your talking about signing Reed .

Joyner was signed at a point when The Rams still needed CB’s . There DB’s were all leaving , J. Johnson is still young and inexperienced.

The Rams have a stable of WR talent. Sammy was a little bit of a diva.

The draft is still open & with this MLB signing makes me think The Rams have a view of what they want to do in the draft.

Right now I can see Snead making trades to go up & down the draft board.

I like Kittle very much. His 40 was one of the best I’ve ever seen. He runs with so much power & speed. Everett is going to be a solid TE. I’m just upset 48ers got Kittle playing well.

I think The Rams have some nice DB players that are core special teams players.

The biggest need is a LT/RT & a OLB/DE rusher to replace Quinn. Those are also player types that are good cap savers by drafting.

The Rams had their plan in place and Joyner was part of it.
With Peters, Talib, Coleman, Shields, Joyner and Johnson the Rams are loaded in the D backfield. This is obviously the focus of Wade's D. Allows other things (blitzes etc) to be schemed how he likes.

Joyner was a big piece of it. Shields was a nice find !
To get Talib who loves Wade & knows the system, & also played with Webster.

Troy Hill was excellent in the playoff game.

How The Rams got Peters on the cheap for 2 years is incredible.

I like Christian and countess , they are good special teams players as well. I think The Rams have to find Joyner’s back up for next year though. He has priced himself out of a roster spot next season.

If The Rams sign Junior Gallete , I think OT is a for sure pick with round 1 pick.

I like the idea of Gallete for sure.

Enjoyed the Pro Football Focus talk. I don't see most of the players in the NFL where I study how they do. I know Jake you like Bowman (rated #11 at 84.8 Above Average) but, I'm not sure how he looks now after his injuries. I look at the grades and feel if they give someone as rated poor and a low number at their position they probably are below average. Likewise for highly righted elite player is much better than average. Not perfect but, a good guideline. By the way I don't think the NFL people care if fans use this tool.

The Joyner Question?

Good but, not great PFF grades.

Tre Boston 81.4 # 30 S Above Average
Eric Reid 81.4 #30 S Above Average

I really wonder what Joyner would have gotten as a free agent.

Good podcast... listened to you guys while doing chores.

I learned this in sales, some people use transition or implying phrases to much and both of you do this a ton using the “ you know”. Eliminate that or go back and listen to your podcast and see how many times in 1 minute you say that. I got up to 13 times before I lost count. Just a little tip to help you Jake.

Also got to disagree with Joe as to the point the reason our D had trouble last year was because we didn’t have any legit NT in place and effected our run D and cost us games. Hence the most obvious one being the Falcons one.
