Exactly, I mean McClendon is "filling in" for an injured Havenstein after allEh, we didn't struggle until we were down three starting OLs (Hav, Dotson, and AJ), including our starting LT.

I wonder if Havenstein is going to see the field...... Actually the line has been better without him....... oh ya IMOExactly, I mean McClendon is "filling in" for an injured Havenstein after all
What teams thrived and won this season with multiple starting offensive linemen injured? It might just be my imagination but it seems like the Rams struggle like crazy when we lose a starting OL, but other teams thrive and still win?
What teams thrived and won this season with multiple starting offensive linemen injured?
I mean this as a serious question because I can't think of any team other than ... possibly ... Tampa; and that was in the first half of the season when Mayfield was playing well despite several OL starters out of action.
The Chargers were greatly impacted by season-ending injuries to their starting OTs (Slater and Alt).
The Chiefs' O-Line was hit heavy with injuries, and their offense struggled (21st in scoring).
Of course it has, which was the point. A poster asked how other teams thrived after replacing an o-lineman, which is exactly what happened when the Rams put in McClendonI wonder if Havenstein is going to see the field...... Actually the line has been better without him....... oh ya IMO

Ozzie Trapilo ... I really liked him in last year's Draft ... and, I love that name!Exactly!
We'll see how Chicago fares without Trapilo
I'd activate him from IR when he's ready, but I'd continue to start McClendon. He's played well, and the line has gelled.I wonder if Havenstein is going to see the field...... Actually the line has been better without him....... oh ya IMO
Yep. And Avila was hurt earlier in the year. Dotson has been hurt the last few weeks. The line has been mostly fine. The lone exception is when Alaric was out. Once you're down three starters, including your starting LT, it gets a lot harder to maintain the level of play (because most teams don't have eight OLs who can provide competent play if called upon and due to the loss of chemistry).Exactly, I mean McClendon is "filling in" for an injured Havenstein after all
