To be perfectly honest I think Goff was the final piece of the gameplan. The way I see it it was:
1: Build a feared defence. A defence that can win games.
2: Get a dynamic running game. We risked it all on Gurley, it proved a worthy risk.
3: Get a QB that can win games. Goff played well on a poor team, behind a sieve like O-line, imagine what he can be like behind our improving o-line with Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt and Todd Gurley as his tools...
So yeh, I think QB was the final stage of the Snisher gameplan -everything else has worked out well so fingers crossed
