Just felt like he hasn’t been himself last couple of weeks. I posted as much after the Cards game.
He, along with the rest of the D, had an off game against Arizona.

Last Thursday, he was a beast, as usual.

Hope this is just a bruise and some veteran rest.

I wouldn't mind resting him vs the Giants if it's bad, they have their own injury bug to deal with

Yeah this was alarming to see in the news. If he had been limping off after the game I would expect something but not just out of the blue that "Donald injured his knee" on the sports crawl like that. Fuck that worried me at first. Flashback to GB. Need him to provide some of that bend in the bend but not break defense. So maybe start him and build up a lead and pull him just to be safe.

Rest AD for the time being. If his minor injury goes from small to out for the season, then forget about the playoffs or SB.

If it was nothing, it wouldn’t be on there.

I’m not being “alarmed” or anything, but this is information about the Rams’ best player.

Think NFL makes you report every non-participant for vet rest, or any gimp and limp a player might have. It's like for equal competitive edge or something. Again Wednesdays are the ones you don't worry about.

This happens all the time every week on every team. No biggie.

I’m not sure what you’re focused on.

I’m not worried about Donald’s availability this week, I’m just worried about him possibly having an actual injury issue.

If it wasn’t anything, they could’ve just said “rest day”.

Donald could have banged something worse, like a hooker. So, no big deal!

This is a stretch of the schedule where you might not need AD to be Superman. Start him if you can, make teams have to gameplan for him, and rotate him out more than usual if you must. It’ll make the D stronger later just as the Williams injury will in the long run.

Matt Gay experiencing ankle soreness may be the reason why he was so bad last Thursday.

Well the point is every bruise is reported on every injury report to explain why a player didn't or partly practiced and what type of injury. It's NFL regs.

Player names.es always pop in injury reports thru the week. And Wednesdays aren't the biggest practice days. So I wouldn't worry

It’s not quite that simple.
From a USA Today article on the issue last year…

The NFL's policy on teams reporting injuries, in part, reads: “If any player has a significant or noteworthy injury, it must be listed on the practice report, even if he fully participates in practice and the team expects that he will play in the team’s next game. This is especially important for key players whose injuries may be covered extensively by the media.”

Again.. not being alarmist, just pointing out the Rams best player has a thing.

Rodrigo Blankenship’s hip injury seemed to catch everyone by surprise. Don’t think that was listed on the injury report.
