Follow the bouncing ball.

Houston has the Oilers, the greatest football team.
We take the ball from goal to goal like no one's ever seen.
We're in the air, we're on the ground - always in control,
And when you say the Oilers, you're talking Super Bowl.

'Cause we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One.
Yes, we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One.

We've got the offense, we've got the defense,
We give the other team no hope.
'Cause we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
You know we're gonna hold the rope.

Yes, we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One.
Yes, we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One.

'Cause we're the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One - Five - Seven - Eight,
We're the best from the Lone Star State!
Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers,
Houston Oilers, Number One.

I will add whoever is playing the cowboys to that list.

Otherwise, I dislike all of the other 31. It is the reason I am mot able to play fantasy football.

One of the reasons that we are Brothas from another Motha.

I hate all other teams. I do have a slight less hatred of whoever is playing the whiners... but I hate whoever that is too.

I also have never played fantasy football because of this. I understand the fun many find when playing FF... but it would be tortuous for me in every way.

I don’t support any team apart from the Rams but I feel sorry for Buffalo, given their four consecutive Super Bowl defeats.

It is hard for me to root for another NFC team... but I'd probably say the Lions. They are a fun team to watch, score lots of points, and they haven't won much in their history... so, that makes them a little easier to root for.

In the AFC... probably the Chiefs... but I might root some for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. That could be a fun team this year, with storylines.

Only rooting interest I can remember is:
Warner's Cardinals
Goff's Lions
Most any underdog team

Other than that, like others have said, I have the teams I root against: 9ers / Brady.
I'll usually root against any elite team.

FWIW I have won a ton of money playing fantasy football over the years and my focus is always the Rams first and fantasy football second. That being posted, last year I drafted Kyren Williams & Puka Nacua with my last two selections and won the whole damn thing riding those two like ten cent ponies.

I find a reason to despise almost every other team:

Niners/Seahawks/Cardinals/Patriots - no explanation needed

Saints - also no explanation needed, although I'll offer a few anyways - we used to randomly lose to Aaron Brooks, including Hakim's fumble in the wild card in 2000/2001

Bucs - that epic 2000 MNF game where Shaun King was about to be sacked and flipped to Warrick Dunn. Disliked them ever since.

Panthers - 2003/2004 divisional round double OT loss

Falcons - wildcard playoff loss in 2017/2018

Cowboys - why do we keep getting blown out by them??

Eagles - the Wentz injury/Nick Foles game - plus I believe we've only beaten them once in the past 20+ years

Giants - this is a weird one - but in 2001, we barely beat them - I think the score was 15-14 (doing this without google) - that team annoyed me ever since

Lions - wildcard round last year, dirty team

Packers - how many losses in a row now

Dolphins - haven't beaten them since 2001, and the last game against them was.....very frustrating

Bills - the blowout comeback turned loss on a phantom PI - complete with Josh Allen being a whiny little bitch about Donald sacking him - cannot stand this team

Jets - Brett Favre beatdown where it was, I think, 40-0 at halftime or something insane like that

Steelers - haven't beaten them since 2003, the loss last year was frustrating and the one in 2019 even more so

Ravens - MNF beat down in LA in 2019

Bengals - fans bitching about calls in the Super Bowl

Titans - Fisher tormented the Rams a few times after the Super Bowl

Chargers - overrated every single season by everyone

Raiders - what's to like?

That leaves as possibilities:

Bears, Vikings, Commodes, Browns, Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Chiefs, Broncos

Of that group, I have no reasoning for this, but I don't like the Bears, Commodes or Browns.

I weirdly don't dislike the Chiefs....I feel like we all should, but I can't.

I am thankful the Broncos traded us Miller. I tend to root for the Vikings, Texans, Colts and Jags when I watch them.

Gun to my head I'll go Texans because CJ is the first Ohio State QB that is showing potential in the NFL.

I don't have a solid second favorite team. I'm fair weather when it comes to that. Back in the early 2000s, I would usually pick a team to root for in the playoffs because we were never in the playoffs. My dad and son are Dolphin fans, so I presently find myself rooting for them more often than not. I will admit, I rooted for the Cardinals back when Warner was on the team. I also tend to root against the 49ers, Cowboys, and Patriots any chance I get.
I only rooted for the Cardinals when the Rams were out of the playoffs and they went to the Superbowl with Warner.

Mine is situational. I enjoyed watching the Bears with Walter Payton because i was such a fan of his. When Payton retired, I immediately lost interest.

I rooted for the Cardinals when Warner was QB for obvious reasons (except against the Rams). When Warner retired, I could care less about them.

I liked the way Elway and Favre played the game so I rooted for them.

I like Goff, so i will root for him (except against the Rams).

Outside of situational times, I don't have another team I really like.

I will never be able to vote for any other team in the NFC - just a non-starter, unless they are playing the Whiners. Said earlier in the thread, but very accurate - my second favourite team is whoever is playing those bastards.

With that said, long before they became the squatters, I did like the Chargers as my AFC team. This started back in the Dan Fouts / Kellen Winslow Sr. days, when he was a true gunslinger. My son chose them as his team during the LaDainian Tomlinson days, I couldn't begrudge him that.

So, long answer longer, we kinda follow the Chargers as well around our place, but they are not even a close second to the Rams.

I root for the Bills since that is the wife's team and I still have Detroit as the 2nd NFC team since I hate every other team

Although I wasn't too happy with the Lions fans last year and that one safety for them.

He can go screw himself.

Used to, The Redskins. Having significant Native blood in me it just happened.
But not going to root for the Commodes or whatever the fuck their name is now. They caved into this woke BS.
Thing is, if you ever spent time on a Indian Reservation on a hot summer day you would notice a LOT of Redskin tattoos on the men when they take their shirts off.
But they changed the name for us right ?

Yeah it was pretty stupid especially when I believe it was based on native americans wearing red paint on them when they went into battle but whatever.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
