So they're waiving him, but I found this interesting:

"Jackson, 34, was willing to stay with the Rams but the team will give a him chance for more playing time elsewhere, the sources said"...

He overplayed his hand, methinks. Sucks to not be a "We Not Me" guy...

I didn't like the signing when it happened. Mostly due to injury history but also because his attitude has always sucked. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Lets see if I can go get his mom to block me on twitter....

Definite mistake by Snead and McVay in signing this guy. However, nobody recovers from mistakes like Snead and McVay.

"See, I fucking told you he wasn't four pillars, but did you listen to me? NoooOOOOOOOOooo you didn't, did you. And now look at the mess you've created. You could have signed Donny Avery, and let me tell you, he'd be really happy to be on this team. He's four pillars!"

Sincerely,

Bill Devaney

It'll be interesting when he's done next year and he's explaining why he traded a SB ring to add 20 catches to his career stats.

Hello Las Vegas! Just sin baby!
He did have permission to talk to other teams, and as someone else mentioned, today was probably not a great day for the Raiders to be fully engaged in trade talks. They might have just told him to wait until he clears waivers, and they'd bring him in.

Who here is hoping Brad Holmes puts in a claim on the waiver wire? Hell, DivaJax is an instant #1 in Detroit ...

I've seen $1.4-$1.7m, but if this week has taught me anything, it's that I understand less about the cap than I thought I did last week.

Thanks! I know I certainly can’t keep up with it!!!

While that much in salary is saved, his dead money CAP hit may completely off-set any real savings.
