There's NO WAY that I could live without NFL Sunday Ticket (living in FL) and RedZone.

The quality of the reddit streams were so good this past year for me. No buffering and with some sort of Adblock it’s pretty straightforward. Hook the computer up to the 65” TV and it was awesome. Save a little extra money to boot.
It's not quite as cheap per Rams game as that... need to take into consideration nationally broadcast games (black-outs). Rams had a few this year, will likely have more in 2018.

Could we get some stream sources (I'm sure there are multiple) and maybe post it as sticky, so we can all access it when the season is getting close? Maybe "pros" and cons" for each streaming source?

I did the above all year and had almost no issues.
Once in a great while it would lag and I would miss a play but overall this site was awesome.
Very good HD too.
Hooked up my computer to my 65 inch smart tv and watched every game that way.

Don't care about the actual average. Still saving money and paying for convience.
I never went to a bar to watch games, and I use a a fiber optic system in the small town in live, has been so much better than DirecTV, except in regards to NFL Sunday ticket.
I will never get Sunday ticket, unless the streaming options dry up. It's free and technically illegal, but I don't care.

I would pay it, if it were the only way for me to watch the Rams, like it used to be. Something that I have done in the past is have your wife fake cancel, and then you call back. I have also cancelled for real, and then told them I was renting the house out, and had another family member sign up. You used to be able to threaten cancellation, but they don't buy it any longer. Aren't there other options out there now, besides streaming? I still like to watch the games again, after the first watch, and need to be able to stop, start, and rewind.

Streaming is not an option for me unless I can stream and record it. My son is in Peewee league football so I rarely see a live game until November. They play on Sundays.
$18 per game is worth it for me. From my chair in PA there is no cheaper option right now that I can reliably record. It's nice to have the comfort of knowing the full game will be waiting for me when we get home.
Last year was only the second time in 12 years that I got a discount on Sunday ticket. It was $12 a game with the discount last year.
Have you inquired about this with them lately? I have a friend that has two dishes on the roof. One is for Dish Network. They other is a Direct TV dish, but it is only for Sunday ticket. Another route to go is to buy a used PlayStation. You can get Sunday ticket that way I believe.

For corporate America, social media has become equal parts science and art. Great care must be taken regarding what is said on official corporate accounts, but those things must be said in a way that reflects, at a minimum, a basic degree of self-awareness.
The folks at DirecTV are lacking when it comes to the latter, as evidenced by a rash of messages sent by the various persons having keys to official DirecTV Twitter accounts in response to complaints about the increase in the 2018 price of the NFL Sunday Ticket package.
The fun started on Monday, when we noticed that Darren Rovell of ESPN tweeted a link to the PFT story on the price hike. A user named Reid Stillman responded to the news with a profane gif that invited DirecTV to do something to itself. And someone from the DirecTV social-media team actually tried to engage him.

Reid responded with a far less profane gif that indicated his intent to cancel the service. Someone else from the DirecTV social-media shop attempted to turn things around.

It continues, with three more responses from the official DirecTV account. We then noticed that the original tweet from the PFT account regarding the price increase generated more than 25 responses from multiple different DirecTV/AT&T accounts.
One conclusion can be drawn from these messages: The accounts are staffed either by poorly-programmed bots or the most hilariously passive-aggressive customer-service representatives in the world.
Whatever the explanation, DirecTV should re-think its approach to dealing with social-media complaints. Doing nothing at all would be far better than the bizarre display that unfolded on Monday.
DirecTV's twitter account needs to hire some Wendy's employees.

I think that's only for students or areas/buildings that are unable to get directv service. Because I looked into that a couple of years ago. Maybe it's changed? Would be nice if it has.
NFL game pass you can get all game after they are finished. I actually ordered that this year but the first Rams preseason game was blacked out because "reasons" and the second game was blacked out for "reasons". After that I said **** you NFL and canceled it before the grace period was over and just watched it for free instead. I am more than willing to pony up money to the NFL so that I can watch all of the games I want. I have zero problem with that. But they either make it a hassle by forcing you to buy other services such as DTV for the privilege to then pay them money for the content. Or they do that blackout bullshit where some games are blacked out and some aren't... that really pisses me off after I pay them money for it.
So yeah, I probably make too much of it but it's where my mindset is at this time and not ranting at you elmgrove so my apologies if it seems like I am lol. It doesn't help that the NFL and Directv both really pissed me off years ago (through the Rams moving and directv just being a horrible company like all telecoms are). But if the NFL ever offers no strings attached games for a fee that I can watch with no blackouts... I will give them my money. Until then, streaming on reddit.
